First class
Booked (pre-Covid) in 2019 and stayed in April 2023 after Covid prevented us from visiting. Owners very accommodating and agreed to move the booking at no cost. The house, facilities and responsiveness of the owners was first class.

Really nice house in a rural area
We enjoyed our stay at this house. Isabelle and her family were really nice and check-in and contacting her during our stay was easy. In a corner of the garden were chickens and we were allowed to get the up to 5 eggs they lay per day. And they had set up a large pool in the garden, complete with air matresses and pool noodles! In there and with the pool table, table tennis, darts and table soccer we had lots of fun. The kitchen was well equipped (they even had 4 raclette machines and several fondue sets). The beds were nice with huge duvets. The surrounding area is quite rural. Next town to shop for groceries is Fruges. The sea is 1 hour drive away. We went to Merlimont which was really nice.

Great, spacious and well equipped property. Perfect for large groups.
Super property. 9 good sized bedrooms. The ground floor kitchen, diner, lounge is a great communal space. The large table will accommodate everyone. The pool table was regularly used and wasn't intruding on others. We were lucky with the weather so spent lots of time at the outside tables and chairs. The gym is well equipped and the table tennis table really good. When I saw the photo of the bikes I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they are, with an extensive range of bike helmets. As a result, we were able to confidently cycle into the local area. Location is perfect if you want something away from it all but with lots of places to visit within an hour's drive. All in all a great property with plenty to entertain you within the property itself if the weather isn't so good.

A Family Holiday to Remember - Half Term 2018
Isabelle, this was the most amazing house for us all to stay in. Everything worked so well and accommodated the needs of five families with 10 children. It was an exceptionally well equipped house ensuring we could cook for a hoard of 20 people with ease. The garage/extra kitchen was invaluable for storage of foodstuffs as well as offering additional cooking facilities. When we had 12 Pizzas being made from scratch everything was in use with no mishaps. All the bedrooms were comfortable and having so many en-suites was a bonus. The garden/play area was a god send with so many small children with lots of energy, allowing the older ones to hold pool and table tennis competitions whilst the younger ones played on bikes and in the sandpit area.access to the local shops was easy and close enough to allow for fresh croissants and bread each morning. This was the best place for large families who want to spend quality time with each other as well as have the opportunity to chill out and read, play games or watch a film. It was lovely and warm, the wood burner was most appreciated. Isablee, thank you for this wonderful family break.

Great base for large family occasions.
Lovely house for large groups. Lots of space and a high level of provisioning. An area of France that Brits seem to ignore, but plenty of attractions.

A wonderful Christmas chez Isabelle
An excellent Christmas week for all our family. We were 12 adults and two children. The accommodation suited us superbly. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Good kitchen facilities (two cookers and two dishwashers) together with two large washing machines and a tumble dryer. Central heating worked very well, we were never cold. Also the big log-burning stove kept us very cosy. The pool table was a big hit with the younger members of the family and the gym with table tennis was in constant use. We were warmly welcomed by Isabell and Phillipe who had very thoughtfully supplied and decorated a beautiful Christmas tree, lights as well. The Carrefour supermarket in Fruge is just 10 mins away had everything we could need. Isabelle et Phillipe, merci beacoup. Alan and Diane

Excellent place for a large group or family break.
The house is really well appointed with everything you need for a great stay provided. Fab open plan kitchen and dining room which really enhances family meal times. Very peaceful area with no noise at night and a nice little bar just down the hill. Visit Le Touquet if you can as its beautiful. Would definitely come again.

Wonderful property.
This property has everything you could possibly need. The House is fantastic and the garden is more akin to a park than a mere garden. The only downside was that we were asked for 130 euros for cleaning and 130 euros for linen 5 days before the start of the holiday. we did question the charge for linen and that was wavered. However we still had a wonderful time. Isabelle and her family were in attendance on our arrival to welcome us and feed us with all the information we needed about the house. I would recommend this property.

une valeur sûre
Pour faire simple, le gîte est parfait pour des séjours en famille ou entre amis. Il s'agit du 2ème séjour depuis le début d'année et le niveau de satisfaction est identique. On se ressource à la campagne avec de jolies balades possibles et dans le gîte , tout le monde y trouvera son compte des plus petits aux plus grands (internet, salle de jeu à l'étage, billard, tv, vélos, ping pong, grand jardin....). Une suggestion: la présence d'un jacuzzi serait topissime!

Super logement!
Ce logement nous a vraiment agréablement surpris. Nous avons passé un WE avec toute la famille , de 0 à plus de 80 ans ^^ C'est vraiment très grands. On a apprécié les espaces communs qui etaient tres spacieux et qui nous a permis d'etre vraiment tous ensemble. Beaucoups de choses mis à disposition aussi: table de billard, table de ping pong, jeux de fléchettes, baby foot, un petit espace sport, des vélos de toutes taille, des jeux pour les enfants Merci beaucoup !

Prachtige locatie voor groep
Het huis biedt veel mogelijkheden. Op een rustig gelegen plek toch vlakbij winkels. Genoeg faciliteiten in het huis aanwezig voor alle leeftijden. Wij hebben een geweldig weekend gehad!

Onze vakantie met 18 personen in dit leuke verblijf is heel goed verlopen. De verhuurders zijn heel vriendelijk en staan je steeds bij wanneer je iets nodig hebt. Alles is quasi aanwezig voor een zorgeloos verblijf. De vele sportartikelen en gezelschapsspelen in het huisje zorgen voor genoeg ontspanning. Amper tot geen negatieve bemerkingen. Leuke ervaring gehad.

Nous avons passé un super bon séjour dans cette villa proposant énormément de choix au niveau des loisirs. Un cadre très agréable au calme pour venir se reposer et profitez de la nature mais aussi venir s’amuser entre amis ou famille. De plus, une piscine (tubulaire) est disponible durant l’été et c’est encore un plus. Très bonne literie dans toutes les chambres. Les propriétaires sont très agréables et à l’écoutent des hôtes. Ils sont là pour rendre service dès que possible. Merci à vous et certainement à l’année prochaine.

Gutes Haus
Wir waren Anfang September mit 19 Leuten eine Woche lang im Haus. Die Kommunikation vor Ort (Schlüsselempfang und Abgabe) lief gut und wir konnten auf Englisch alles erfahren was wir brauchten. Im Haus selbst befindet sich eine ganz praktische Mappe in der alles auch noch einmal auf deutsch erklärt ist. Die Ausstattung vom Haus war super, wir haben nichts vermisst und es war sogar mehr vor Ort als inseriert. Im Prinzip hat das Haus nur zwei kleine Mankos: es ist ziemlich hellhörig und das WLAN ist sehr schlecht. Aber uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir quasi die ganze Woche das Gelände nur zum Einkaufen verlassen haben. Insgesamt auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert.

Gite très bien aménagé et très pratique On y trouve tout le matériel nécessaire pour un grand groupe avec enfants et ados. Le jardin grand et clôturé ainsi que la salle de sport sont un plus certain. L'accueil des propriétaires est chaleureux.

Heerlijk!
Dit is de derde keer dat we er met de familie naartoe zijn gereisd. Met name de ruimte die we er hebben zowel binnen als buiten trekt ons steeds naar deze plek. Allemaal een eigen kamer met badkamer, de overloop met speelgoed en spelcomputer waar de kids bij slecht weer veel met elkaar hebben gespeeld, de ruime keuken en grote eettafel (zowel binnen als buiten) waar we met z’n allen aan passen, de enorme tuin met speeltuintje en fitnessruimte waar de kinderen & volwassenen ;-) lekker kunnen spelen. Genoeg fietsen voor ons allen, dus we hebben weer heerlijk gefietst in de mooie omgeving en hadden de eerste dagen mooi weer, dus lekker geBBQd. Kortom het was weer fantastisch in Lisbourg! :-)

Gastvrij ontvangen door de eigenaars van het huis. Ideaal huis om vakantie met vrienden/familie door te brengen. Alles was echt aanwezig tot poetsproducten toe. Sommige dingen verouderd maar deze paar punten wegen niet op tegen wat je allemaal krijgt voor dit geld

maison spacieuse. Grand terrain pour les enfants.
Maison spacieuse, assez bien équipée. La plupart des chambres ont une salle d'eau. Nous avions 7 enfants de moins de 10 ans, et il n'y avait qu'une chambre avec 2 lits 1 personne. Coucher des enfants dans des lits à 2 , c'est assez compliqué. Le ménage est correct, si on ne cherche pas trop au fond des tiroirs. Le pack "linge de maison" est appréciable surtout quand on arrive à 20. La présence de vélos pour tous les âges , de la draisienne, du vélo à petites roues, aux vtt enfants et adultes, est appréciable, mais il faut savoir que le relief est loin d'être plat. Le soleil était au rdv et nous aurions aimé avoir, pour les enfants les plus jeunes, des jeux d'eau, petite piscine ou jet d'eau en extérieur. Nous avons aimé notre séjour de 5 jours. Nos enfants ont demandé: quand est-ce qu'on recommence?

ruim vakantiehuis met vele faciliteiten
We genoten van het mooie en ruime vakantiehuis met zijn vele mogelijkheden om zich te amuseren : de fietsen (hoewel het wel een héél heuvelachtige streek is), de fitness en pingpongtafel, de tuin, biljarttafel. Het is een heel mooie omgeving om te wandelen en te fietsen. Toeristisch is er wel weinig te beleven in de onmiddellijke omgeving. minpuntjes : De hygiêne in de keuken zou wel iets beter mogen. De laden en kasten zitten vol met spullen en zouden wat meer geordend mogen zijn. Sommige bedden zijn maar de grootte van een twijfelaar. We vonden het jammer dat er in het huis geen kaart met de beschrijving van de wandelroutes aanwezig was. We vonden ze wel op het internet. De routes zijn goed aangeduid met gele pijlen. Wij zouden dit verblijf zeker aan een groep aanraden en misschien wel nog eens teruggaan!
