Dear Carol, we are pleased to know that you prefer Mercure Lisboa Almada Hotel. Regarding our location is strategic, 300 meters from the metro station (Ramalha) that connects you to the center of Almada and Cacilhas (15 minutes), where you can enjoy the best restaurants with traditional Portuguese food overlooking the Tagus River and Lisbon. From Cacilhas there is also a regular boat connection to the center of Lisbon (Cais do Sodré). From the metro station – Ramalha, in a few minutes you will reach the metro station – Pragal from where you can take trains to the center of Lisbon- Campolide. The Hotel is a short drive from the beaches of Costa da Caparica, a 15-minute walk from the iconic Cristo Rei Sanctuary and a 5-minute taxi ride to the "Almada Forum" Shopping Centre, which is one of the best and largest in Greater Lisbon It should be noted that the entire front of the Hotel is equipped with a very extensive park with green areas that are very popular for physical activities and further back you can see the access to the 25 de Abril bridge to the center of Lisbon, less than 10 km away, being able to choose to move by an uber with a cost of around 10. In fact, the hotel is located in a strategic area, approximately 300 meters from the metro station (Ramalha) that connects you to the center of Cacilhas (10 minutes), where you can enjoy the best traditional Portuguese restaurants.
