The hostel was nice and clean. It is close to Rossio square and walking distance to many attractions. Unfortunately the street outside the hostel is noisy with drinks and is a little sketchy. I felt safe as I was with my partner. I may have felt differently if I was traveling alone.

The fan in the room was not enough to keep it cool. The extractor in the bathroom was not working and all the steam stayed inside as there was no window. The good about it is that the hostel is well located.

My room was extremely hot, noisy, and smeel a mixture of piss and weed. There is a small patio next to it with some hot duct that mantain the room with hot air and noise. The provided fan was not particularly useful. At night the other people where noisy and the walls are not thick enough so you can hear all of them.

This hostel was in a very convenient location but can be a bit sketchy at night. We had a late flight and I tried contacting the hostel many times to make arrangements for late check in. The description says to contact them if arriving after hours so they can leave the room key in your room. They did not respond to any of my emails so I got Expedia to call and they were told that we could only check in until 12 am. If after that, they would not let us in. Our flight landed at 10:30 pm so this was very stressful! Had I known this, I wouldn't have booked it. Luckily we got to the hostel at 11:40pm but stood outside in the rain for 15 mins until another guest let us in. Terrible service and communication.
