A family holiday with children & grandchildren!
Beautiful house with annex, special BBQ corner and a great swimming pool. Typical Portuguese tiles, a great spacious feel. The place has rooms which needs to be carefully understood if you are allocating couples and children. 2 people are counted to be on a sofa bed, which none of the adults really wanted on a holiday. The bunk beds were great for children but the room is next to the kitchen and far away from the rooms where the adults can sleep so one parent had to sleep with the child in a bunk bed.
The place is run as a B&B so the owner is very hands on quite a different experience from other VRBO places we have rented where we were informed of the house rules and left alone completely. They live in the premises, have very specific rules and were monitored.
We were harassed by a wild cat through out the meals and went into the kitchen if that wasn't kept closed. The children had to be kept away from it.
Overall a good experience but wish we had actually looked at the layout of the place given we had couples with children who needed to be together.
