This accreditation can be verified at any time in the Turismo de Portugal database. Of course, the best independent proof of our quality is the comments from our previous guests. You are welcome to book our home to see our quality for yourself. The apartment is located in a historic Portuguese building that is almost 100 years old, typical of traditional architecture. As is usual in old buildings, there is no elevator. The stairs are safe and well lit, and this detail is part of the charm and authenticity of the building. The Graça neighborhood, located on one of Lisbon's highest hills, is one of the most charming and authentic places in the city, ideal for those who want to experience the “real” Lisbon, with incredible views, quiet corners, and lots of history. The Graça neighborhood is known for its viewpoints with incredible views, Miradouro da Senhora do Monte and Miradouro da Graça, historic streets, and peaceful atmosphere. A few minutes' walk away you will find Alfama, São Jorge Castle, typical cafés, urban art, and the Jardim da Cerca da Graça - perfect for exploring the city on foot. The famous 28 tram stops at the beginning of the apartment's street, making getting around the city very practical and enjoyable. A few minutes' walk from the apartment, there are several supermarkets, shops, grocery stores, cafés, bars, pharmacies, squares, and restaurants where you can enjoy typical Portuguese food. The house has 3 comfortable bedrooms: 1 double bedroom, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the city - 160cm x 200cm bed. 1 bedroom with two single beds (please note: this bedroom has NO WINDOW) - 90cm x 200cm bed 1 bedroom with a single bed - 90cm x 200cm bed. The property also includes: .Fully equipped kitchen, for preparing your meals in comfort; .Spacious and cozy living and dining room, ideal for moments with family or friends; .Full bathroom, with towels and essential amenities. The apartment is very bright with large windows that let in natural light throughout the day, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Important information for getting to the house: \- TAXI – approx. 15 minutes from Lisbon Airport \- METRO - 40 minutes from Lisbon Airport to Martim Moniz. At the airport, take the red line to Alameda. At Alameda, change to the green line to Martim Moniz. At Martim Moniz, you can either walk (20 minutes uphill) or take Tram 28 (only small bags are allowed on board) or Bus 734 (small bags). Our family of 5 (2 adult, 3 children) loved our stay. Gisela, was a perfect host. Met us on arrival and helped carry up our luggage. Offered recommendations and also offered us an early check in and late check out. Very flexible and accommodating. The apartment is steps away from restaurants and shops and amazing view points. The area feels safe and family friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it especially if traveling with children! ##### Alicia H. As a renter, we gladly realized that she checked all the boxes on making sure the guests feel at ease from the moment they set foot in the apartment, and even prior. We did get there way before the check-in, but it wasn't an issue because Gisela took our luggage and brought them in the apartment once it was available. The apartment was as clean as it should be, with little touches that were added to make us feel welcome and at home. First aid & fire extinguisher were available for our security.The apartment is well located. Every afternoon, people love to gather up the street to view the sunset. Supermakets, restaurants, public transportation, tuk-tuk can all be found a few meters from the apartment. It is worth taking time to walk, at least once, from the apartment to Praça Do Comércio area or vice versa.Finally, Gisela provided us good suggestions on places to go visit and eat. Stayed 5 nights in Aug 2025 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Dan K. 18 Sept 2018 #### A lovely place in the heart of Lisbon Gisela’s place is a lovely apartment right in the center of Lisbon. She and her husband were wonderful hosts and great communicators. They left very nice touches, including a nice bottle of wine and made us feel at home. It is in walking distance to almost everything that you’ll need, and if you have a car, parking is relatively easy especially for a big city. Do keep in mind that it is on the fourth floor of a walk up building, which for us provided a good form of exercise. Also, through no fault of Gisela’s, it was very hot when we were there and many apartments in the city do not have air conditioning. She was very accommodating and provided us fans when we asked. My family wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again the next time we are in Lisbon. ##### Dan K.
