The apartment had everything we needed and was in an excellent location - only a short walking distance to some great restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops. We loved exploring the local area, seeing the street art, nearby flea market on Tuesdays and Saturdays and the excellent lookout points for a beautiful view of Lisbon. The hostess, Manuela, was easy to communicate with and very helpful in planning for my arrival and departure. Myself, wife and 2 children (aged 13 & 10) stayed in the apartment for 1 week which was in a great location for walking all of Old Lisbon. Car not required as you can easily get around via trams, buses and taxis etc... but may want to consider purchasing a Lisboa Card before your trip for the benefits of reduced transport and attraction costs. There is a good view from the well maintained, well decorated and very comfortable apartment. We loved experiencing Lisbon by immersing ourselves with the locals instead of staying in a hotel with all the tourists. ##### Barrie D.
