The villa is part of a tranquil 2-hectare estate consisting of a large pine forest area, a beautiful lawned garden with flower beds, fruit trees, palm trees and paths that lead guests to beautiful landscapes, very close to other picturesque villages and beaches. The rustic villa is built in a privileged location, with romantic landscapes: in front of the Sintra Mountain and its romantic Pena Palace, and in the back, a beautiful sea view, where guests can enjoy and restore energies to Watch a wonderful sunset at sea, among the pine trees of the property. The villa is prepared to receive a family of 8 people (although it can comfortably accommodate 10 people). It consists of 4 bedrooms (2 of which are en suite), 3 bathrooms and a toilet, a living room, a large kitchen and a spacious lounge. Has Wifi (4G rooter with 7.5GB month). It is ready to receive children and babies, having the necessary equipment for sleeping, eating and playing. In the garage, guests will find all the outdoor furniture needed to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and alfresco dining, with an additional fridge and a barbecue. Adults and children are challenged for great walks, eating alfresco, playing and resting outside enjoying the shade of the pine forest. The farm is idyllic for those looking for a mix of country holidays and a beach getaway. Once you enter the property and close the gates, you will find yourself in your little private paradise, listening only to the sound of birds in a peaceful haven away from the stresses of everyday life. In the vicinity of the villa: Close to very picturesque villages such as Fontanelas, Arneiro dos Marinheiros and Magoito, where you can find all the necessary services (restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc); The farmhouse is located 15 km from Sintra, 30 km from Lisbon, 20 km from Ericeira and Mafra and 15 km from Cascais and Estoril, providing a home base for discovering Portugal's iconic cities and towns. The villa is 1.5 km from Magoito beach and 3 km from several other beaches (Praia Grande, Praia Vermelha, Praia das Macas, Praia da Aguda, Azenhas do Mar, Praia da Adraga, Samarra, Vigia, S. Julião, Lizandro, Ericeira etc ...). In the surroundings guests will find tennis and golf courts (over 16 golf courses 30 minutes away), surf and windsurf schools and horse riding venues as well as a teaching farm that organizes donkey rides (to the delight of children… very close to the property !!!). At Praia das Macas and Praia Grande there are 2 large public swimming pools with entertainment activities for children that are well worth visiting. We can also provide information on hiking groups so that guests can quietly enjoy the trails and walking paths on the cliffs of the beaches and across the fields. The villa also offers the possibility of cycling. The climate is very mild. Car use is strongly advised given the location of the property. We had such a great stay here- house is just beautiful and the setting is hard to beat! You have the palace out your front door and the sea put the back! Plenty of room for everyone and the house is laid out so that different groups of people can have their own space- adults having cocktails on the front porch while teens play cards on the back. The house was deceptively large, with five doubles, three bathrooms, large kitchen and huge sitting room. The grounds were lovely. The area was beautiful and we spent each day driving to different places, Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, fabulous beaches to watch surfers. Each recommended restaurant was fabulous. The food in each was spot on, and the service was welcoming and authentic. It is definitely somewhere I will go again. Well done Rita and sister. The 4 bedrooms (plus an office that could be a fifth bedroom) provided ample space for our group of 4 adults and 4 young children. The grounds are very pretty and provided a fun play environment for the kids. There is also a large lower level stocked with bikes and toys for the kids to enjoy. We stayed in the house for the period from mid of December 2016 till mid of January 2017 with three kids. The house has everything you need for the family vacation. The land plot is fantastic. With a beautiful garden and a large territory kids can play outside the house and you don’t need to be worry for their safeness. I have to admit that Sintra is a tricky place. It has a variety of microclimates areas. You need to be careful with choosing where to stay to avoid unpleasant weather. We were lucky and almost all days we stayed where sunny with clear view of the Atlantic Ocean and Pena Palace. Another benefit of this house is its unique location. You are very close to the landmarks of the Portugal Riviera, naming Cabo de Roca (the westernmost extent of mainland Eurasian continent), Azenhas do Mar (a small fisherman village with meditational views; it has one of the best fish restaurants in this part of the cost), Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaliera, Palace of Mafra and many many other places to visit… Rita, the owner of the house, is charming and wonderful lady. ##### Hermann E. Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Es gibt ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Kamin, mehreren Couchen und einer Essecke. Es gibt eine umlaufende Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheiten auf 3 Seiten. So findet man immer ein sonniges und windstilles Plätzchen. Im Keller sind noch etliche Sonnenliegen, Strandstühle, Tische, Spiele und 2 Fahrräder. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, war bei allen Fragen behilflich und bei Ankunft war der Kühlschrank für das erste Frühstück bestückt. Der nächste Bäcker ist ca. 2 km entfernt. Einen Lidl gibt es in 10km. Wir können das Haus für einen ruhigen Urlaub in der Nähe von Lissabon sehr empfehlen. ##### Andreas W. ---
