The staff helped killed the insects on the day of our arrival but they continued to show up throughout the length of our stay. The bathroom smelled like raw sewage and the staff provided us with air fresheners. Another day, we had to suffer with raw sewage stench throughout the entire building. Our family of 6 was comfortable enough with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms… ac didn’t work well in 2 of the bedrooms and we had issues with the front door lock. Maintenance came promptly to check both but only the door was fixable. The washer and dryer were very nice to have and they worked well. Beds and linen were clean and comfortable. It is a very central location- near the metro and many restaurants and shopping. The photos portray a much nicer property- it was a bit run down and one bathroom really needed updating. Two lights in the kitchen were burned out and we saw a few silverfish bugs. Overpriced property for Portugal but we were stuck at the last minute so we had to book here. Check in was pretty smooth and I managed to get in by 11AM which was earlier than their normal check in time. Checkout was painless as well. It was like living in a condo for the 2 nights that I was there. It had washer and dryer to use as well as detergent. It had all the necessities of an apartment, including a kitchen, utensils, plates, cooking supplies (even salt and peper). Bathroom was a bit cramped due to the washer being there, but it was a small inconvenience. The sofa was comfortable and the wifi was pretty fast.
