My home is perfect for families, couples or a small group of friends visiting Lisbon. Composed of a fully-equipped kitchen with a stove and oven; a dining area that opens up to a large living room for you to relax and watch television. One master bedroom with a double bed, and a secondary room with an additional two single beds. Wifi is provided throughout the apartment. My home has 2 bathrooms (one of them is ensuite to the master bedroom) and you will find complimentary towel, soap and shampoo provided for your convenience. Simply drop your bags and explore Lisbon! NOTE: The tram passes right in front of the apartment and it can be heard. Guests will have access to the entire apartment. We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home so please take good care of it as if it was your own. Rua de São Bento is a street that crosses through districts, exhibiting the rich and beautiful history of old Lisbon. The neighborhood is filled with churches, convents and palaces that have been transformed into art schools, such as the Higher School of Dance located in The Pombal Palace. Furthermore, there's also the Palacete de São Bento which holds the seat of Parliament, and the Assembleia de República. It easy to get around Lisbon on foot via Metro; you can catch the 28E Tram to Alfama as it would stop right outside the door. Alternatively, taxis and buses are available at your convenience. This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay). Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee. The apartment is cozy and had everything we needed. During our visit it was unusually cold and wet so at times we were a little chilly in the apartment but that is to be expected. There is a little mini store across the street and several restaurants within walking distance. Between walking an Bolt rides we were able to get every where we wanted to go. We felt safe and comfortable in the neighborhood. The beds were super comfortable in both rooms and there is plenty of space for 4 adults. We would definitely book this until again. ##### Lynn B. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 in the heart of historic Lisbon. Roomy, modern and very functional all within a historic building. I reported it immediately and the management company informed me they had repaired the shower and replaced towels we used to clean up. When we returned after a long day of touring we realized the work had not been done and we didn't have fresh towels. While that was disappointing, the management company did offer a % refund for the mistake. I would book again given they did make things right and this could happen anywhere. This is a very comfortable and excellently located apartment in the heart of the São Bento region of Lisbon and right on the #28 tram route. This allows very ready access to the Bairro Alto, Baixa, Alfama, Santa Cruz, Mouraria, Bica, Cais do Sodre, Estrela, and Alcãntra districts by foot or by tram. The apartment is excellently equipped and fully air-conditioned with furnishings that provide a very relaxed environment. The apartment was just as advertised. It was large, modern and very clean. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to most locations (and we are over 70). Communication and check in were good. Jader was great. Our only suggestion is that it would be helpful to have instructions on the TV and appliances (in English). Positives are: Cleanliness; Good location for restaurants and groceries and walking to other sites; Good internet; Good central air conditioning Negatives: Host claimed one day of supplies provided, but we got only a small Ziploc bag with a few little bags of vinegar and salt. Very different from our previous rental in Porto where they left us not only dishwasher and laundry detergent, but a welcome bottle of wine and coffee and milk for the first morning. We only had one hand towel and one bath towel each for a five day stay. One bed was fine, but the other two single bed mattresses were covered by hot and wrinkled rubber mattress covers, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Early communication with host was fine, but we texted that some bathroom lights were out in both bathrooms upon arrival and did not get a reply. Bathrooms were modern and updated, but only had a handheld shower, which was awkward. I am sure that the location is usually quite good, but for our stay an entire cobblestone street was being demolished and rebuilt right beside us and we couldn’t open the windows for the noise and dust. Also, I would suggest installing a self closing mechanism for the front door. There’s a sign asking you to make sure it’s closed but three mornings we went down to find it had been left open by other guests in the building. ##### Ann R. It was not too far from most things but not in the middle of tourists. The front room did get a lot of noise from people and the tram / trolley car. Easy check out process.
