A large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment combining art, old world charm and modern comfort. The apartment boasts gorgeous high ceilings, 2 lovely balconies, a large luminous living room where you can relax in different sitting areas, television, cable, wifi and elegant dining space. It is designed for easy living and total comfort. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, has a marble bistro table, and a vintage twist. On the first floor (one flight of stairs up). The apartment is Ideally located in a wonderful and authentic neighbourhood offering the old and the new - with charming cafes, trendy restaurants, museums, and antique shops. At the same time the area retains its old neighbourhood feel with local merchants, artisans and picturesque streets -many with beautiful period ceramics. The area is also considered the new design centre of Lisbon, You can walk to nearly all the key attractions in Lisbon, including the river, the Time Out Market, train station, parks, Parliament, Chiado and so much more. The apartment is across the street from the French Embassy and Institute and has several small groceries, a pharmacy, bank and most other conveniences on the same street. It is walking distance from the train station and metro for when you head to the many beach towns, including Cascais, for the day. Great spacious flat close to transit. Lots of food choices nearby, a few bars handy, groceries also close if cooking is your thing. Comfy beds and relatively quiet apartment. Hosts are responsive, we had a minor item occur during our stay and they were right on top of it and had things corrected very quickly. All the amenities and a great location to restaurants, including two that were perfect for breakfast and dinner, a market, coffee shops and walking distance to some beautiful sights. Get your legs in shape, the sidewalks/streets are steep. (Watch your step!) The owner communicates very well and is very attentive.
