We had checked in on-line, or so we thought. We arrived at Casa Di Patio and were told we had to go to another hotel to check in. When we got there, we were informed that they had no record of our on line check in (despite us having a confirmation email). It was laborious to say the least.
There was no information in the room, no WiFi code or useful tourist advice which is unusual.
We were in an upstairs room which had a sloping roof and a metal beam. We had to move the bed because whoever slept on the left hand side of the bed was at risk of severe head injury if they got up in the dark.
There was a coffee machine but no kettle, not great for a tea drinker.
We were at Casa Di Patio for 6 nights, the room was only cleaned once. We ran out of toilet roll on day 5 and resorted to rooting around to find napkins. There was no reception area & no telephone in the room to request supplies.
You had to go to the sister hotel for breakfast. The service was very hit and miss. There were a couple of very friendly staff but on the whole service was poor.
There was no social distancing at all at the buffet breakfast.
The sister hotel carpet was absolutely filthy, it was red but looked black & appeared not to have been hoovered for the entire week we were there.
We loved Lisbon but would not stay at this hotel again. It’s not suitable for anyone taller than 3 ft unless you are willing to re-arrange the room. The lack of room cleaning was worrying
