Really great service and all public spaces were relaxing and stylish. The rooftop pool is such a fun departure for the city. Great location. The room was beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding. The hallway leading to the rooms was very dark. The front desk concierge where not as helpful or informative. It would be nice if they welcomed you on your entry to the hotel, or had a list of restaurant recommendations, or services offered. There is a lot of opportunity here. Coming from a service background, the concierge service needs to be elevated and looked at. The basic offerings of a concierge where not presented here aside from a decent check in. Great Jazz music night and old school 50 and 60 music. Many many coffee table books of all varieties and preferences. Staff very nice and spoke without fake concern really helpful. Great breakfast. In the rooms there is a Marshall music speaker - not sure it’s a great idea unless you have very considerate neighbours. We had to go down to reception twice after midnight as the music was so loud from the room next door we could tell what song they were playing in our room! Good location, pool a definite bonus and breakfast was good too.
