It is an aged area with excellent local shops and small family run restaurants and one of the most interesting and typical areas of Lisbon

Our stay in Loures - Moscavide

The property was as mentioned in the VRBO guide, good. Moscavide is not a tourist area, you need to take the train or metro to get into the centre off Lisboa. The transporation to the city was good and nearby the appartment. To see a first impression of Lisboa we took a (electric) bike tour, through Belem organised by Lisboa Autentica, via GetYourGuide. Daniël was a perfect guide! For a nice , good and cheap breakfast we recommend Pastelaria do Bairro on the corner of R. Vasco da Gama and R. Salvador Allende (2 streets down from the appartment and then 1 street to the right). Give them our regards and see "Groeten uit Nederland; van Dinie en Dick". For a cab back to the airport we used Taxi2Airport, a lot cheaper and better then the cabs who are waiting at the gate 😉. We had a very nice time in Lisboa and are willing to come back.
