Apartment in the Heart of Old Lisbon

  • Apartment completely renovated in 2011 in the heart of old Lisbon, near the historical center of Lisbon.
    Set in a typical neighborhood in a quiet and peaceful street, is the historic center of Lisbon to less than 5 minutes walk, can visit the Rossio, Restauradores, Avenida da Liberdade, Marques de Pombal, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Camões, Castle St. Jorge.
    In the area there are several monuments, churches, sights to see, Clubs, Bars, and still experience the famous Ginginha Rossio.
    The apartment is about 200 meters from the historic center of Lisbon, Rossio, Restauradores.
    At the center will have available all necessary transport to enjoy your stay: Metro, Bus, Train, Taxi. It's really close.
    The apartment is equipped to make our guests feel at home.
    In the apartment there are many maps available to help our guests to visit: Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, and surrounding areas.
    The apartment is about 10 minutes by taxi from the airport.
    The apartment is on the center of the city, but nearby (200 mts of the apartment) can be park the car.
    There are beautiful beaches around Lisbon like Estoril or Cascais (around 15 kms – 30 minutes by train)

Carla’s apartment is PERFECT. Clean, spacious, stocked with tea and basic spices, and she leave you a little gift basket of bread, wine and jams. Such a considerate touch. The bed is super comfy which I find rare for Europe. The shower is always hot. The washing machine is a lifesaver- make sure to read the setting instructions before you use, they are in a basket on the wall to the left. Carla is great to communicate with. So kind and quick to respond. The neighborhood is very cute. I felt like I was in an episode of Mr Rogers. Safe, multicultural, lots of options for restaurants and convenience stores. The sushi on the corner across the street was fantastic. And the location is great because it’s just a short walk to the tourist areas. I will absolutely stay here again when I’m in Lisbon. Thank you Carla!!!

Lovely apartment, cozy and comfortable, a 5-minute walk down the hill to central Lisbon. We made excellent use of the washing machine, and Carla provided us with two bottles of wine, a loaf of bread, and paté when we arrived.

Perfect Location

The location is great and super convenient for everything we wanted to see. The property met our needs. We didn't use the kitchen, as we really just came back to sleep. We did try out the little cafe down the road, and loved the local feel.

Great little apartment!

This was perfect for our 4 night stay. The bed was comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space. We didn’t cook there but it seemed to have everything needed.We agree with the other reviews about it being up a steep hill but as iong as you’re reasonably fit then it is not a problem. Would stay again!

Great apartment in traditional residential location

Fabulous small apartment, perfect for a couple. Spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed for a 6 night stay. A short walk into the main town centre but quiet and felt safe at night. Choice of a few traditional style restaurants very close by, we had some very pleasant meals. Carla and Paulo were great hosts, communication was faultless and we really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

A perfect apartment for a fabulous Lisbon experience. Carla provided excellent communication, directions and answered a couple of questions instantly. We were very grateful for the lovely gift of wines and snacks. The kitchen was very well equipped should you wish to cook however the location of the apartment was ideal to explore the many restaurants and key tourist spots on foot or by the excellent transport options. We would certainly recommend Carla’s accommodation to stay whilst you explore the exciting city of Lisbon .

Old Lisbon walk to important sights

The apartment is comfortable and fully equipped for staying and cooking in but restaurant’s abound nearby. Old Lisbon - can walk to important sights.The old stone road is steep but there is view of the river from the little step out balcony.

Quaint and charming apartment.

Great location, friendly, historic neighborhood accessible to true old Lisbon. Markets, cafes, bars on our street, which was VERY steep. Parking is a bit of an issue. Woukd definitely stay again.
