Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Place used towels on the floor of bathrooms or laundry room Pull down the sheets/blankets on used beds Run dishwasher - allow time before shutting off the water Turn off the hot water heater,

Shut off the water (reverse opening directions). Open the faucet in the tub to drain the system Turn down the thermostats to 53 degrees (50 non-winter) Close/lock windows, draw curtains

Close & lock both sliding glass doors (dining room, lower left bedroom) drop wooden sticks in the track/groove Shut off all lights inc. outdoor lights Lock the door – press button with the lock icon
