We are right at the beginning of the Kangamangus Highway which is listed as one of America’s top 10 most scenic byway‘s. The area boasts many great restaurants and breweries. Popular nearby attractions: Lost River Gorge, The Flume, The Basin, Franconia Notch, Franconia Falls, Loon Mountain Ski Resort, Clarks Trading Post (Trained Bear Show), Cannon Mountain, The Cog Railway, Alpine Adventures, Moose Tours and much more! We loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying the mountain views. The outdoor pool was a lot of fun for our kids. The stairs to the river and fresh blueberries to pick were fun surprises. Easy access and very clean, modern, comfortable accommodations. The bed was great and the balcony had magnificent views. The location is great as well. We went to the Highland Games at Loon Mountain and it was super close. The only thing I could comment on is the amount of communication - it was all good, but in the end, I had 10 emails and 5 text messages from the condo owner (plus 5 from Orbitz makes 20 in total). This became a little overwhelming for a 1-night stay. Maybe they could be combined into ONE welcome email/text message.
