I first made a reservation with the hotel directly and then a better price came up on Expedia so I made one through them. Then I called the hotel to cancel my first reservation. I didn't receive email confirmation so called again and they confirmed it was cancelled. When I arrived, they had two reservations and cancelled my cheaper Expedia one and had me pay $58 more for my room. Luckily Expedia was nice enough to refund their reservation, but the staff at New Victorian was not very nice about their mess up and wouldn't work with me at all. Very thick accent and very hard to understand at front desk.

Staff was very nice. A child's birthday party was being held the night we stayed. When checking in the staff said I'll give you a room away from them so its quieter. I thought that was nice. The card reader on our door worked to get us in the room, but never worked again. Staff tried to reset our keycards, used their master keycard, which did not work. The used an actual key to open our door. They did offer to move our room. We stayed put since we were already settled in the room and we just needed a place to sleep.

It’s a sketchy place. Only saw 2 male workers the whole time. Cheap breakfast food and hotel conveniences. One tiny elevator for 3 floors. Felt like it was being used for other purposes. No women workers ever seen. Only 2 unfriendly men. Didn’t feel safe at all!

The advertise that somebody was always at the desk, 24 seven and that was not true. You had to dial zero, and they were somewhere around the property. There was no in room, coffee makers, and the little derma pump coffee holders. The coffee was lukewarm I would probably not recommend this hotel.

Property was clean with new carpet throughout. Room was ok, furniture and vanity were somewhat damaged. Bed was comfortable with actual blankets (personally I hate the heavy comforters that most places use). Breakfast was ample but all starches.

As soon as we showed up at this hotel, there were two drunk men screaming at each other in the back of the parking lot in their truck. We ignored it and went inside and booked a room, not only was the lock broken on the door, the deadbolt was completely broken off as well. The room was disgusting and the hallways smelled like cigarettes. We decided to leave and on our way out a man was running from the police outside. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE GOOD REVIEWS.

Alyssa we cannot control what happens in parking lot..it’s all non smoking property and we take it very seriously. And your deadlock was not working. Plz tell us your room number so we Cld fix..regarding police outside..how do you expect us to control fighting and police in parking lot? Thank you

The description(s) listed for the property were obliviously imagined. My two-queen bed suite was a queen bed and a cheap sleeper sofa. Room was dirty, smudges and fingerprints from the last occupants were everywhere. If you are looking for a cheap room at an over-inflated rate, then you won't go wrong staying here.

It was clean and well maintained. Within walking distance to grocery stores and fast food. Staff was friendly. The only problem was i made a mistake when I reserved the room i reserved a king size bed with a double bed fold out couch(my mistake) when i tried to change to a double queen room i couldnt because the hotel was full. When i went to get sheets, blanket and pillows to make the bed the guy at the front desk didnt want to give me any bedding. He ended up giving us 1 pillow, 1 bottom sheet, 1 blanket. I had kids that needed that bed. Not a real big deal but a bit annoying

The pictures of this motel are not what property actually looks like. I will never stay in tgis motel again and do not recommend it. Its loud, dirty,ran down,outside there is trash all over, obvious prostitution going on, so many things.

My two children and I stayed the night at this hotel and they had our room right next to the front office. I felt completely safe. Our beds were very comfortable and the Continental breakfast was perfect for the morning! We would absolutely stay again!

We usually have a great experience here, but this last trip was less than desirable. The rooms were not super clean, there was hair in the sheets and bath towels. There was a dog barking non stop right across the hall from us. There was nothing left for breakfast after 7 AM.

The room layout and the king size bed were good. Renovation work quality was not good, but while sleeping and eyes closed you don’t notice such things. Toilet tank was not shutting off when we entered the room. I did a 30 second repair and problem was solved. Should have been noted by cleaning staff and addressed before we arrived.

Stayed at New Victorian for 4 nights this week. The room was clean and I got maid service every day. The locators super convenient for me. It’s within a stones throw of 2 grocery stores and is close to several restaurants. I’ve stayed here many times over the past few years and they have made improvements in the property including my most recent stay. I do appreciate the complimentary breakfast, but a little variety would be good. Biscuits and gravy 4 days in a row! I will stay here again.

Very dated property needing repair & upkeep. Our first room assigned, we walked into the bathroom & there was standing water. No coffee maker in the room which was very inconvenient. The pillows also needed replaced, they were hard. It was acceptable in cleanliness but old grout is dirty & elevator was not clean. The 'moments of truth' about the dated condition such as the handicap door entry not working and dated & damaged furniture made for a very mediocre experience/value perceived.

Was nice room. Clean. The refrigerator wasn’t working. Kept trying to cycle on, but didn’t get cold. Breakfast area is small for the number of rooms, however a few chairs in lobby helped accommodate.

This where folks go to do drugs & anything goes. I had someone attempt to get in my room more than 10 times in one evening & management did nothing about it. Very unsafe. Dont stay here unless your broke and cant afford anything else, its not worth it.
