Staff in the hotel were incredibly helpful, polite and professional. The lobby, bar, restaurant and coffee shop were all very well presented and maintained.
Our room had just been refurbed and the room was sufficiently spacious and the bathroom area was really nice and spacious too.
There were some drawbacks: the TV did not work for a couple of days (and after drawing Management's attention to this matter, they compensated us by giving us access to to the Executive Lounge, which was much appreciated). The other issue that we had with the room, which consisted of two Queen beds, was that there are no chairs or desks in the room and so working from the room or dining in-room is not possible. We had a champagne breakfast sent to the room for my wifes birthday, which we ate sitting on each bed! This is a significant defeciency for a five star hotel. We mentioned this to staff but were informed that this was the standard for the refurbed room design.
The hotel is beautifully placed in Miraflores with a fabulous view of the ocean. I would recommend this hotel, but only if you can do without any chairs or a desk in your room.
