The staffs in the reception can speak English and with courtesy. The complimentary breakfast consists of some breads, yougurt, and fresh juice, simple but enough quality. I would not recommend this place as it doesn’t have the most secure rooms and is located in an area that has lots of crime (according to locals). Due to the safety factor we did not leave our room and decided to check out early, loosing money and getting a hotel in miraflores. The staff was nice and helpful but wasn’t enough of a reason to stay. Within 5 mins walk to old town. 3 mins walk to the street full of money change counters. 15 mins walk to China town. Decent size room for this price with hot water. No heater. Room has extra blanket or you can ask reception for extra blankets. Could be a bit noisy at night if you are light sleeper because people drive crazily in general. You can hear traffic at night but this didn’t bother me. Lorena from the reception is outstanding. She cannot be more helpful and friendlier during my stay. She offered many useful tips around the city and went extra miles to ensure I have a pleasant stay in Lima. Great hospitality from checkin to check out.
