A few things to improve

Pros: clean and comfortable price for a great price. Cons on a few details: 1. super frustrating check-in process. Apparently, this is some property through "My Host" that we had no way to know during booking. Long story short, we didn't know there would be an entry password sent two days before arrival, and it took us an hour at 11pm to get in. It would be great if there was some description of the "fancy" check-in process on its hotels.com page, or the password/a heads-up of a coming password was sent right after the booking confirmation, or even just some indication that emails from "My Host" are not spams 2. Hot water ran out for two normal showers. We could take shorter showers, but a heads-up of the possibility of no hot water would help a lot. 3. Doors are squeaky and loud. 4. I am not used to receiving several emails from the owner during the stay, an informal link to pay, an email asking for passport number.... It might be all fine through "My Host", but it was unprofessional and looked suspicious since I never had this experience with hotels.com before.
