"Lovely small hotel in the small walled city of Bale. Very good breakfast buffet & excellent attached 5 star restaurant. Excellent service. For North American travellers, there is no elevator so you may want to transfer your travel items into a smaller carry-on. For the hotel, please add an in room kettle. As a traveller, sometimes you need to make yourself an herbal tea or an early morning coffee. Also, please have 100% overhead coverage of the areas connecting the buildings. It rained during...

"Lovely family hotel! Highly recommend!"

"Amazing location and hotel. Staff were great."

"Prepare for a hike to the apartment, so pack light, but it is so worth it. You are right in the centre of the Old Town, just below the church. There is an upstairs apartment and a downstairs apartment, so you'll likely hear each other through the floor/ceiling (only walking around and running the water). A very charming stay indeed!"

"Location was ideal and close to restaurants, bars and the marina. Communication and response time were excellent. My only concern was the quality of the mattress in my room. As a light sleeper, having a bumpy, soft mattress was not ideal. This property is otherwise recommended."

"Big party next door. So a bachelor party spoiled our sleep the last night. We travel with two kids who need their sleep. So I contacted the reception at 21.00. The woman was helpful and told me to contact the guard if the party wasn't over @ 22.00. It wasn't. Contacted the reluctant guard @ 22.30 who told me to report problems to the reception the next day. "Great location in Rovinj. Walkable and easy access to the old downtown and a nice walk to the beaches. Only issue was the stairs up to the apartment - there were a lot. But, great location. "

"Sweet little apartment about 20 mins walk from Rovinj centre. Neighborhood was beautifully quiet. Owner didn't speak English but we managed with Google translate"

"This place was perfect. So wish we could have stayed longer. "
