"This is a lovely hotel, very close to the downtown walking area. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful. Free on-street parking after 17:00. We opted for the compact room for our one night, but it was plenty spacious."

"The staff were lovely and helpful. The room and bathroom were a good size, though a bit more shelving in the bathroom would be handy for the toiletries. The kettle could do with being on a different tabltor have a longer cable, as you had to either unplug it, or move the cup down to where you could pour. The only other issue, is that the main menu stops at 6 p.m., there are other choices for the next hour, then it closes at 8 p.m. The TV also was problematic, as it gave sound but no picture. Eventually for some reason it actually showed the picture, but it took a good 10 minutes of trying all the buttons, getting annoyed with it and throwing it onto the bed!"
