"Third floor walk up room, no elevators!👎 Automatic Access System initially inoperative as could not send texts to US phones. Was able to access manually thanks to remote operator. The next day I was able to chat online and got an Email for access. Thereafter good. Excellent lounge and breakfast well handled by local manager. Very clean overall. Large room but needs more towel holders. Quite a good place if you have a room on the ground floor or first floor."

Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. "Quiet and decorated in a modern, bougie style. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Parking is a bit unusual as it isn't paved nor marked and you just park in amongst the trees where you can. Price was very reasonable and there are many dining and grocery options in the near vicinity. Central Orleans is about 10-15 minutes drive."
