"I had an amazing stay at Northwood Motel! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, but what really made my stay special was the hospitality. The owner is absolutely awesome—very friendly, caring, helpful, and genuinely makes sure the guests are comfortable. It honestly didn’t feel like I was staying at a motel; it felt more like staying at home with people who truly care about you. It’s not often you find a place where you feel this welcomed and relaxed. I really appreciate the kindness and great service throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Northwood Motel to anyone looking for a comfortable place with wonderful hospitality. Thank you for making my stay feel like home! ❤️"

"This property was so special! Water front view and very private. Host was super responsive and answered all questions quickly...even though the answers were in my information! We really appreciated having a kitchen and living room as well. Very much like being home. I could imagine living there!"

"This is the third time our family has stayed at Timber Lodge. We truly love this house. Everything about the home is well thought out for families. There are lots of little touches that show the owner really cares that his guests have everything they need.The pantry is well stocked with spices, olive oil, etc., the laundry room has detergent and fabric sheets...there are even extra first aid, and over-the-counter meds, and Band-Aids in the master bath. Truly, every single kitchen appliance, you can possibly think of is available. The hot tub is a lovely addition and the theater room is super fun. We all enjoyed sitting out in the large deck and watching the sun set over the mountains. Our family of 12, comprised of 4 couples, one single adult and 3 small boys, had plenty of room to sleep, relax and eat The kids enjoyed the large yard to play in and the toys in the loft. The tepee was also a hit. All in all we had a glorious week. We found Jason very easy to talk to and ready to solve any problems that arose.Also, the beds were super comfortable. I highly recommend this vacation rental and I'm sure we will be going back again."

"We had such a great stay in Birch Bay! The place was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location, which made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and we felt right at home. One of the absolute highlights was Bruno, the house dog — he was SO sweet and adorable and definitely made our stay extra special! 🐾❤️ We loved seeing him around. The property was peaceful, well cared for, and exactly what we were hoping for. Communication was easy, check-in was smooth, and overall we had a really enjoyable experience. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Birch Bay!"

"This property is absolutely amazing. The home was very clean and extremely well appointed. We had everything we needed to enjoy whatever was planned for the day, especially when it came to the kitchen. The views are simply stunning. We watched the otters on their daily routines, which included lots of frolicking on the shore and in the water. We enjoyed the hourly “fly by” of an eagle who fished in the bay. Sitting on the deck to watch the sunsets was definitely a highlight. If you want to have a memorable vacation on Orcas Island this is the place to stay!"
