"Friendly and helpful staff. This place has electricity 24/7. The AC did not fail - Hallelujah! In the event of a power outage, there is a backup generator, which came through (without delay) a couple of times during my stay. The free WIFI works like a charm. Rooms come with free satellite TV for entertainment and more. Netflix, Youtube, etc were available on the Smart TV in my room.
I couldn't figure out how to get hot water from the shower and never asked, so that's on me!
I didn't walk the neighborhood at night, so can't speak to that, but I did so comfortably during the day. There is a nearby STOP & SHOP convenience store selling everything from paper towels to biscuits and more. It's just a two-minute ride in a keh-keh (or 3-wheel taxi) from the hotel. Get some snacks and extra bottle water from there if you're going to be in town for a while.
There's a mobile money agent right across the street from the hotel, if you're in a jam for cash and have a balance - they accept both Orange and MTN customers."
