The cottage was very well clean and well equipped.
The cottage was very well clean and well equipped. Quiet village location with a friendly pub. Easy access to surrounding areas. A lovely short break here with the benefit of a log burner in February !
Cottage and location were lovely.
Booking and check-in information was complicated because vrbo listing directed us to cottages.com.
Telephone number for learning about key collection was not answered. Day before arrival key collection had to be chased via cottages.com.
Highly recommend Fox and Hounds for an evening meal.
A warm cosy cottage in the lovely village of West Burton plus a wonderful waterfall. Plenty of car parking and room to recharge your car if needed. The pub shop and tea room are all easy to walk to.

A very clean and comfortable cottage with excellent parking.
A very clean and comfortable cottage with excellent parking. The weather was great for October but we found we needed the central heating to keep us warm evenings and mornings. We had a problem with the heating but the owner came over immediately and sorted it out. The cottage had a wood burner and a small amount of wood was provided. The fire unfortunately was not very efficient and soon went out. However the heating kept us warm. TV was also a problem but again the owner provided a new set top box and all was well.We couldn’t have asked for more consideration and we had an excellent week. Thank you

Immaculately clean throughout with a very comfortable bed.
Immaculately clean throughout with a very comfortable bed. Cozy lounge, with lovely log burner and central heating. The kitchen was well equipped, with a big fridge freezer.
The village location was perfect lovely pub, and surrounding countryside. Great field adjacent cottage for walking dog, with really nice shared garden.
Highly recommended to dog owners, as there are lots of fabulous walks and waterfalls locally.
