Rustic Romantic Bayberry Cottage at Autumn Ridge

Romanic, secluded cabin. Bayberry Cottage is situated on a 40 acre ridge with grassy fields, woodlands, and gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Wildlife is abundant with deer, wild turkey, rabbits, and birds. It features a main room with seating area around the fireplace and the kitchen, a master bedroom, and garden room with an oversize double Jacuzzi whirlpool tub. The theme in Bayberry is antique sporting equipment. 

Located minutes from Lexington's historic downtown area. Lots of local shopping and dining. Plenty of historic site-seeing, breweries, wineries, etc.

NO SMOKING PERMITTED INSIDE COTTAGES.
NO OUTSIDE VISITORS PERMITTED. Students are welcome to visit with parents staying with us.
NO PETS - In order to maintain our high standard of cleanliness, we must adhere to our no-pet policy.

Well kept quiet cottage with all the convenience of home. Nestled in close to downtown Lexington history! A great place for rest and relaxation. You will make some wonderful memories here!

Beautiful Cottage Experience

The cottage was immaculate and checkin was super easy. The bed is quite possibly the best bed I've ever slept in! For a couple on a weekend or week long getaway this is a perfect place to stay that's close enough to Lexington to check out and explore but not in the middle of anything for some private time.

Lovely Cabin

We were in Lexington for a family wedding. This cabin was nice as it allowed us to be close to all the action but away from the more stressful moments. The pictures are accurate & the bed was comfy. The jacuzzi was great after a long hard hike. Lexington was close to good trails & had a terrific brewery & good restaurants.

Romantic Getaway Cabin

What can I say other than, Magnifique! The cabin was beautifully furnished (sharp knives, fast internet, hot water, ample soap & linens) and a lover's oasis. The indoor fireplace and working hot tub w/ jets are the high selling points of the cabin. Wood interior throughout makes it feel warm and inviting. Kingsized bed is memory-foam soft.10 minutes from downtown Lexington, VA, you can easily get all essentials and cook up a fine meal. Cabin was clean, easy to locate, and worth returning to.

My last VRBO experience

The zero cancellation policy for VRBO makes no sense. Why should someone be charged for cleaning, fees, etc IF NO ONE STAYS AT THE PROPERTY. This policy makes even less sense given we are living in a world of COVID where people’s situations can change last minute.

Great cabin

This cute and rustic cabin is close to town but feels very private and secluded. The cabin was adorably decorated and clean. Thoughtful touches were abundant throughout. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the dragonflies. A peaceful getaway but close enough we were able to DoorDash a meal.

Lovely secluded cottage that provides easy access to downtown Lexington!

The property was perfect for a two person getaway for the weekend. The only quibble would be the untreated well water that has a sulphur smell…. However, we brought bottled water so it wasn’t that big of an issue. We would definitely rebook the cottage in the future!
