Old Farm Road. Spacious house on 10 acres only 1 mile from downtown Lexington
Located on one of the highest ridges overlooking Lexington, the house sits alone on 10 acres, only one mile from Main Street. There are neighbors - in the distance. By day enjoy the fabulous views of the surrounding mountains, with the lights of town twinkling in the distance each evening. Relax on the screen porch, which seems suspended over the tree tops. There are 3 bedrooms: the master on the main floor with it's own large private bath, and two queen bedrooms on the lower level sharing a separate private bath. There is a sleep sofa in the study with a powder room conveniently nearby. It's a great house for entertaining with the living room, dining room, and large covered deck all adjacent to the kitchen. On the deck is a gas grill (with full gas tanks) and several tables and chairs, from which to enjoy the view. The house is on Old Farm Road, which is also a favorite walking and jogging route for many locals. Feel like you are away from it all, with neighbor's chickens clucking in the distance. Yet, in moments, be downtown shopping, touring, going to VMI, W&L or the Virginia Horse Center.

We had a wonderful stay at Old Farm Road. The house was immaculate, location was perfect, and the house had everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely look to stay again on our next trip!
We enjoyed every element of our stay on Old Farm Road. Communication was clear and always helpful, We enjoyed all of our stay and would recommend the property to anyone seeking a quiet yet accessible location in Rockbridge/Lexington, VA.
A great rental with country quietness yet close to town. Spacious bedrooms and great seating on the back porch for visiting, reading, resting. 50 million stars out of 10 stars 🙂
This property and the owner are amazing. Vicki was very accommodating with last minute changes. This property has the most amazing views and outdoor decks and other areas to enjoy them. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. It was an amazing stay, and I will definitely be back again!
The home is beautiful and perfectly appointed for a group. The screened porch was perfect for drinking coffee
and watching the sun rise. The house if so clean.
We are from Ohio and met my Charlotte NC son, daughter-IL and granddaughter in Lexington to go to the Safari Park it did not disappoint. Highly recommend it.
Great trip lots to see.
My husband Kevin and I are so grateful for the professionalism, kindness and hospitality shown us during our stay at this lovely retreat on Old Farm Road. The house was pristinely clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed. The mountain views from our bedroom window and decks are outstanding. Our Labrador Lily had a great time watching nature unfold each day we were there. Thank you Vickie and Jennifer!
Great place to stay, right at the edge of Lexington
We stayed in 350 Old Farm Road for a wedding in Lexington. This was an extremely comfortable place for all of us (5 adults) to stay. We were able to enjoy the surrounding and to work remotely. The house is extremely comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate all of us without any sense of crowding. The screened porch was a delight for coffee in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evening. This place feels seclude, yet it is a couple of minutes drive from downtown Lexington (in fact, Old Farm Road is just an extension of Houston Street downtown). The property manager was very prompt and helpful. We highly recommend this place.
Ten years ago, we stayed in this same property when our daughter graduated from Washington and Lee. This time, she was back for her 10-year Young Alum weekend, and we came along as babysitters. This property has tons of room, both inside and out. The hosts provided a PacnPlay for the baby. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to communicate with the host as multiple messages (phone and VRBO messages) went unanswered. We had to contact a VRBO rep to get a question resolved.
It’s an absolutely beautiful area. We loved sitting out on the porch and seeing the amazing views. The location was so convenient to W&L and to several road trips we took.
We have stayed at this lovely home three times now. It is comfortable, carefully maintained, and absolutely perfect for us. We always enjoy being on Old Farm Road and would recommend it to anyone, especially families, visiting Rockbridge County/Lexington.
In the area for a wedding, we were surprised by how close to Lexington the property was but still had a country feel. The property was well maintained, very clean and well supplied. Loved the deck and screened in porch.
We stayed at this property for a girls’ getaway weekend in Lexington. The house was well-stocked and really clean, everything worked great and we had clear instructions throughout the house. The house was also very centrally located to all the things we wanted to do (Safari Park, Natural Bridge, downtown Lexington and wineries). Driveway was a little rough of a climb but that’s to be expected in the mountains. Thank you so much for hosting our wonderful stay!
Love this house and the property on which it sits. For those more adventurous, the mile walk into town is perfect workout (big hill coming back in though!)Was a little large for our needs but ability to bring our dog outweighed size! We enjoyed our time here and would definitely book again if our daughter wasn't graduating!
This was our second time to rent this home for a visit to Lexington. The house is located in a beautiful spot so close to town. It made our trip so easy.
It was surprising to find such a beautiful country setting so close to town! The layout of the house was perfect for our family-my husband and I in the master bedroom on the first floor and my daughter, her husband and infant downstairs. The decor was charming!
