disappointing and out the way

Posted 09-Nov-2015
Pros: not much
Cons: redoing the rooms, the ice maker was broken and a shattered window to the vacant place where they the ice maker was
Location: far from Lexington Kentucky about 8 miles to the burbs
I was somewhat disappointed for an eco-lodge, as they usually have a decent reputation, it was far from Lexington Kentucky, but the staff was friendly but not informed about the area.

There were bugs and/or insects in the room,

Posted 16-Sep-2015
Pros: Only the continental breakfast.
Cons: The hotel was not suitable for living.
Location: None that I knew of.
I was very unhappy with the room and I had to find another hotel to complete my stay due to bugs and/or insects in the room. There was no closet to hang your clothings.

Worth the price

Posted 23-Aug-2015
Pros: Quiet and in a nice location.
Cons: New type TV'S and a alarm clock.
Location: Location was right off of the interstate, though the GPS could not find the given address. Plenty of food places to eat and gas stations too..
Besides the old style TV'S and no alarm clock all was good. The continental breakfast had on Pastries in plastic paper, cereal(3 kinds) and 2 types of bread, with juice(2 kinds)

Nothing working

Posted 03-Aug-2015 on Hotels
The room had a non working toilet, non working ac,non working phone, and no hot water. Also despite what the listing says they have no pool. Also their free breakfast is a mini single serve feral box. They promised to move me to another room and never did. Never staying here again.

Overpowering smoke smell

Posted 28-Jul-2015 on Hotels
"Non-smoking room" wreaked of smoke, to the point were people said we smelled of smoke after we left the hotel. There was supposed to be internet and a microwave, but there was not. Front desk staff was unhelpful.

spend a little more and get a good clean room

Posted 13-Jul-2015 on Hotels
We booked online and arrived 9:30ish pm. The desk clerk was very friendly. The room was terrible. A definite smell in it. Large cigarette burn holes in both comforters. The floor looked like it hadn't had a good vacuuming in a while. At least the sheets were clean. Tub, sink, and toilet were clean but old. Kept the sheets on the bed and used my own blanket. The breakfast was as expected for the price point however my husband and I were appalled at the cleanliness of the eating area. A guest spilled coffee and the man working the desk couldn't be bothered to clean it up. He waited to get one of the girls to come in and clean it up. Coffee was all over the counter, floor and wall. She cleaned the floor then wiped the counter. Needless to say coffee dripped all down the counter and onto the floor again. As we were walking back to the car we noticed some other rooms had better/newer looking comforters so maybe we just got the worst room. Overall it was not a good experience. Left there feeling dirty. Next time will pay an extra $25-$35 for a better quality room.

Lock up stuff and think smart,,,

Next to a gentleman's club with some "low-rent" live-ins make this place barely acceptable. We wanted cheap and clean and that's what we got but nothing more. Paint blistering and peeling in the bathroom, old very banged up and damaged furniture, But since we were only staying the night on a cross-country trip-it was OK for us.

Non-smoking rooms should be non-smoking.

Posted 02-Jul-2015
Pros: Cheap! Nice reception worker at night.
My non-smoking room smelled so much of smoke that my clothes smelled after the visit for days! Also cigarette burn in the comforters and most of the light did not work in the room.
