Cute apt downtown
We loved the apt. The only downside was the bathroom. The shower is more of a tub so none of our group showered. The sink is small and dated. The rest of the apt is delightful and eclectic! Our group especially appreciated the cleanliness of the unit. It met all of our needs as we only stayed the one night.

Nice location
The apartment was clean and furnished nicely. We only stayed one night and were able to walk to a few bars/restaurants. Things to note: the staircase to the apartment is steep and narrow, and the beds have extra firm mattresses.

Super clean! ,Easy walk downtown and this is in cute neighborhood. Shower was a challenge, but we are tall folks, and it is as described in the listing. Owners are quick to respond and we hope to be back. :0)

Perfect, fun and funky
Thoroughly enjoyed this artsy little apartment where we could enjoy walking in downtown Lexington. So many nice touches - real plants, art, coffee and snack bars. Hosts were very responsive for another excellent vrbo stay! Bonus that it was available for a one night stay on our extended road trip.

Great location
A friend and I were in Lexington for a concert at Rupp arena, and it was in walking distance. Nice location close to a bunch of restaurants and bars. Very clean. And I agree with other reviews in that the shower is not made for tall people. It definitely has character.

Perfect for our needs
With a quick trip planned for Lexington Haviland and John’s property was perfect. Easy to get to from Highway, walking distance to town (about 15 mins ), parking was easy and we felt safe in the area. The unit is as pictured with sloping ceilings but the space felt open for just use two.. more than 4 adults might make it feel a little tight. The unit was clean and check was easy with great communication i regards to some pre arrival questions. The shower is as pictured and you have to be a little creative but I’m 6’ and managed well, but if you are older might be a little tricky to get used to it. Other than that we loved our trip to the Lexington area and would recommend this property.

Great location, walking distance to Rupp Arena.
We have stayed hear multiple times. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to Rupp Arena. The property managers respond quickly to any questions. The house is always clean and it’s a great place for our family to stay when visiting Lexington.

Near Rupp Arena, perfect 2BR apartment on a quiet street. Very clean and was well equipped. Communication with Haviland was excellent and he was very accommodating being we needed to check in just a bit earlier for an event. Highly recommend.

Friend Get Together
We rented this VRBO for a group of 4 friends to get together for a couple of days. The location is fantastic! It is close to the distillery District, Rupp Arena and the Burl, where we saw a great live band. Lots of great restaurants to choose from as well. The bathroom is a bit quirky but doable. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome location!
This place is great! Easy walk to downtown bars and restaurants, incredible historic neighborhood, quick 12 minute drive to Keeneland. Yes, the stairs are steep and the shower is creative ;) but it’s party of the charm of this really amazing space. Kitchen was great, necessities were provided, hosts were available but not at all intrusive. If you like comfortable old houses I highly recommend this space!

Wonderful!
This was a wonderful place to stay for me and my family! Very clean and nice. We were there for an event at the Rupp Arena that one of our family members were participating in and everything was with walking distance...from the Arena to dining. It's located in a beautiful historic section of Lexington as well. The hosts were amazing! Responding to anything I inquired about swiftly. I will say though the stairs won't be for everyone. They are steep, but I once lived in a home with stairs just like them so it was not an issue for us at all. I highly recommend staying here! My family and I will definitely be booking again next time we are in Lexington!

The space was really nice. The only complaint would be the shower. If you’re a person who likes baths, or you’re not planning on showering while you’re there, not a problem. But it’s a little inconvenient for an adult to use.

Smelled of weed
I've stayed in this bnb before and was really excited to book it again for our next event in town, unfortunately this time we had an extreamly differant exsperiance. Before arrival we had received an email letting us know there was a "faint" smell of weed in the room from someone "smoking outside" ( and first of all any smell of it is frankly gross but we were willing to let it go.) When I tell you this was the STRONGEST grass smell I've ever smelled in my life I mean the strongest. I'm not unfamiliar with the smell of weed so I am fairly certain that it was a blaze with smoke (inside) before we arrived. Most of our stay we spent opening windows, cleaning, defusing and basically anything and everything you could think to try and make the smell go away. It was so strong we ended up feeling sick most of the time we were there, and panicking trying to get the smell off of our gourments because they can't be washed. Over all I'm shocked at this exsperiance and disappointed, I really liked this bnb, but I can't say I would at this point recommend it to anyway or plan on booking here again.

Perfect spot!
We LOVED this apartment! This was the perfect location- a short drive to the places we wanted to go. The hosts were amazing, communicative, and helpful. I think it's been noted that the stairs could be difficult for some folks, but we had no issues. So much thought went into the decor and the details. They've ruined us for other rentals!! :-) Even our 16 y/o daughter loved the space. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in Lexington! The accommodations were great! We were very happy with the beds (firm and nice bedding - very comfortable), kitchen (everything we needed) and living room area was very cozy. The property owners even brought us a grill, which we enjoyed two nights of our stay. We had planned to have a fire in the garden fire pit, but never got the chance. We did enjoy drinking coffee each morning and a cocktail of an evening in the garden though. Beautiful area! To note, there are several pretty steep stairs to access the unit and the shower head is only a few feet from the floor. Neither bothered us, but I could see this being challenging for some. Overall, we loved the accommodations and the hosts and would highly recommend!

A great cozy place
This was a great place to be for a brief stay during a road trip with my husband and adult son. Communication with owner was perfect. Apartment was very comfortable. Easy parking in front of home. There is a beautiful soothing, calming garden in the backyard. We were very happy here.

Great Location for UK Fans.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in #3. Upstairs apartment that was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Literally a couple of blocks and you are entering Rupp. The owner Johh was very friendly and helpful. Good trip made better by the property owner and the location.

Nice place to have our "own space"
The property was very clean and it had ample space and sleeping capacity. Plan to take a bath as the shower is very short. Also, the colder months are tricky with a wall heater unit that heats mail living space well but bedrooms were cold. We just needed the unit to use for sleeping and as our own space in the morning so felt it was good enough for that and priced accordingly. I wouldn't recommend if you plan to cook and spend a lot of time in the rental.

4th stay-- As always, exceptional!
I love this property. This was our 4th stay here, and every time it is spotless and quiet. We always get a great night's sleep here, and have plenty of room for our family to relax and spread out. I especially appreciate the well stocked kitchen, and that items like olive oil, sugar, and other odds and ends are already stocked in the cabinets. Something that stood out about our most recent stay was that the host helped us figure out where the good trick-or-treating locations were at in the area, and even sent us a map. We used it and went where he suggested, and it was awesome. Traveling over Halloween was not ideal for our little kids, but luckily we still got to enjoy the holiday even though we were far from home.

Enjoyed staying at this charming place. Wish we could’ve enjoyed staying longer but the rainy weather dampened our plans. But would most definitely recommend this place and come again! Love being downtown in charming place!
