No hot water. No reception desk staff unless you call them and wait. Room was freezing when we got there for bed. Free breakfast is cereal and toast. If you dare!

TV didn't work. Breakfast was lousy. Consisted of Raisin Bran, Cornflakes, milk, watered down coffee, white bread, butter, and hostess cupcakes. Second day there wasn't any milk or butter. Worst hotel breakfast ever.

The rooms seem to currently be under renovations. Our room was rather unclean. Might have been dusty from the ongoing Renos. The staff was very nice. I feel like this place is going through a transition period and it’ll get much better.

This property is in extremely poor condition. I would never ever stay here again. The new owners are nice but the place needs to be completely re-done, it is unsafe with electrical outlets that are dangerous, filthy conditions, parts of walls falling off....it should be closed until renovated. I took photos of the many disturbing things in the rooms.

I would use the word serviceable at best. While the beds were comfortable, rooms average sized, and standard and clean motel towels and sheets, the whole building could use a solid deep cleaning and fresh paint. Perhaps just understaffed cleaning crew, perhaps just a forgotten about unit off the beaten path, and just far enough away from downtown Lewiston to make it overlooked by the chain.

Very outdated very very poor repairs in the room don’t think the carpets have ever been washed the ones in my room or sticky when you walked around in your bare feet it was disgusting half an inch of dust on baseboards in bathroom shower curtain. Just hang in there not even fully screwed into the wall front desk staff didn’t understand or speak English.

By far the worst place we have ever been at. To start with the bathtub was dirty and the bathroom door broken. Some one had covered the smoke detector with a plastic bag on the ceiling and it did not work. I put 6 beer in the fridge before we went to dinner and when I came back they were all frozen and broken. They claim they provide breakfast. it is coffee, juice or cold cereal. No hair dryer in room and only two towels. Carpets and walls filthy. When I went to the front desk, they claimed they had just taken over the property and it is what it is. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE! Dive Dive DIVE!!!

The TV was broken. The telephone did not work. Rug was sticky to the point I wore my shoes to get to the bathroom. I found 2 bugs on one of the beds. Wish I'd taken a picture of it. There were black curly hairs in the sink we hadn't even used yet. Worst stay in a hotel ever! Wish I could get my money back.

Worst hotel I've ever seen :(
We chose to stay a night in Lewiston because Portland was unaffordable, but we regretted not paying a little extra to get a minimal level of cleanliness. We thought we would get a clean, basic room, but it was terrible. I never thought it would be possible to get such a bad room in a big hotel chain like Super 8. The beds were clean but I doubt that the rest of the room had been cleaned. We decided right away that we weren't going to use the shower (the curtain pole was falling and the bath was so dirty). There were cigarette burns everywhere: on the fridge, on the toilet bowl, in the sink, on the carpet, on the chair... At midnight, someone knocked on our door (which didn't have a lock other then the magnetic card), twice. We were freaked. When I yelled that the room is occupied, we just heard someone mumble and try other doors. We didn't see the continental breakfast but even if there was one, we wouldn't have tried it. To be fair, the staff was really friendly and nice. It's a family that just acquired the building, I hope they'll be able to do updates in the rooms and keep the business going!

This was the worst hotel my family has ever scene. No one at the front desk when we got there. The non verbal janitor called the clerk on the phone to come to the desk. The “lobby” , a counter with a glass front, looked like a pawn shop window and reeked of smoke and just smelled rotten. The hallway going to our non-smoking room smelled like a tavern when smoking was allowed. Throw in actual cigarette and marijuana smoke, litter and butts on the floor and grime everywhere, that was the walk to our non-smoking room. In the room, the first of two double beds was full of cigarette burns and food crumbs. The dresser was falling apart. Burns on the floor. A thick coating of grime everywhere. I had to use the washroom as it had been a long drive. Same story. Disgusting. Adding that under the toilet seat it was black. I walked out of the bathroom, made my son put his sneakers back on and told both he and my wife to not touch anything. Called another hotel that cost me big as it was last minute. I got my family out of there quicker than we went in. Stopped by the front desk and told the clerk basically what I have above. He didn’t flinch, and offered me another room. We drove away as fast as possible after dousing ourselves in sanitizer. I would not recommend this dive to anyone or anything. When we drove past the exit to this hotel on our way back home I could still smell the smoke and rot in my nose from this room. Stay far away from here.

The property it in a very sketchy location as soon as you drive in the place is under construction. We walked inside and it smelled terrible the lady at the desk was nice. We got a key to our room and walked down to the hallway which smelled and was very creepy vibes. Walked past a few rooms one smelled like complete drugs and the other was very loud with a party going on. We walked into the room and again it smelled like mold the cabinets were destroyed and filthy I refused to sit on the bed and the bathroom was even worse. Bugs everyone

I was given a room where the table lamp was broken, the refrigerator was not plugged in. The second room that they gave me - the door was open and the cleaning crew was there and told me it hadn't been cleaned yet. The third room had a submarine sandwich in the refrigerator. The room smelled. No one was at the front desk at checkout, I had to call on the phone there and I clearly awakened them. Zero stars.

It looks like there is construction going on outside, so maybe that will lead to remodeling inside. Room cleanliness was so-so and had remnants of cigarette smell. Staff very polite.
