    West Twin Lake is an all-sports lake with crystal-clear water, a sandy bottom, and a gentle slope that stays shallow (3–4 feet) for an extended distance—ideal for young swimmers and perfect for tubing, water skiing, or a relaxing paddle. Anglers will love fishing for walleye, pike, perch, bass, and sunfish right from the private dock, which includes tie-off anchors for your boat or jet skis.

The pet accommodations were good, our dog really enjoyed the outside yard and playing by the water. It was very peaceful, just what we were looking for. The house had everything you could need to enjoy your stay. It is close to other areas if you want to take a day trip. The colors on the trees were beautiful. I imagine that the summer time would be a great time on the lake.

We enjoyed the house, the heat and hot water worked well in the cold temperatures. Plenty of towels and bedding for everyone and the location was ideal!

Beautiful, relaxing lake house

Enjoyed our week at the lake house with all the comforts of home. The owners are wonderful hosts, the lake is perfect for swimming and water sports, and the house is well-stocked with everything you might need. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back!

Summer Cousin Time

Beautiful property for a family get together our grandchildren 18-5 years old. The kids enjoyed having a yard to play games in and not just sand. The shallowness of the lake was great for the young as well as teens. The house was exceptionally clean and supplied with all you need.

Wonderful Fall location

Very nice place with everything you need for a nice stay on the lake. Firewood and some water toys included. The master bedroom is a wonderful location to wake up and enjoy the beautify view of the lake. Great beach for little ones because it is very shallow for a long distance out from shoreline (like a splash pool). Great communication from the owner.

Summer Vacation

We had a great time at this lake house and reserved it for next summer before we checked out! We had 11 people and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need and was very clean. The owners were great to communicate with on any questions we had. We are looking forward to coming back next summer!

Home Away From Home!!

I’m embarrassed of my handwriting after reading all of those nice messages in the guest book so I’ll type mine lol… we were so impressed w the accommodations and how comfy and clean this home is. Definitely agree w everyone that this feels like a home away from home. We just bought property in Lewiston and wanted to stay for a long weekend and check out the area more, and very happy with our new “neighbors” Would love to experience this lake house in the summer! Water toys galore!

The house offer the perfect lake experience. We have a 9 and 11 year old. They loved using the two paddle boards, lily pad and paddle boat. The adults did too! Very shallow lake. Great for kids and beginner water-skiers. Thank you for an enjoyable week away.

The lake house is lovely- one part original log cabin charm, one part high-ceiling great room/mud-laundry/king bedroom suite addition. Great view out to West Twin. Clean and comfortable. We stayed over Thanksgiving with adult siblings and our kids. Overall a good experience, and we were glad to have the rental while visiting aged parents. Jeff was thorough and welcoming, made sure to communicate that the snow-removal folks were headed over on Thanksgiving morning. We were even allowed to check-in early! Our only disappointment was that the beds are inaccurate on the VRBO listing. One bedroom has ONE set of bunk beds- a twin over full; NOT two bunk beds as the listing description with bed emoji-characters shows. The other bedroom is most certainly a full-size bed, NOT a queen as listed. The third room is, in fact, a king bed. Not a deal-breaker overall, but it did require some people in our party to sleep in non-bed areas. We would stay again, with this prior knowledge to plan better. :-)

great option for Lewiston lake house

The house and property were great. What we liked the most: House was spacious, clean, and well stocked. We appreciated all of the extra beach towels. The lot was very deep and wide so plenty of room outside. Nice fire pit. Owner was easy to communicate with and helpful with the one issue we had. Nice beachfront and boat parking options. Nice to be able to borrow the kayaks and extra chairs. Well water tasted great. The only thing we didn't love was the pull out sofa as a sleeping space. It might be okay for kids though. Overall it was a great lake house.

A lakeside Treasure

We enjoyed the perfect up north getaway. The lake house was everything we'd hoped for and more. It was just as described had everything we would need from towels, linens, and space - the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and everything was clean and organized. The location is near a local grocery store(less than 10minutes) so very easy to make a run if you need anything at all. We had a bonfire every night, admired the stars, the songs from the loons,made smores, and used the grill. My husband played a round of golf at garland and we took a day trip to ocquenoc falls the rest of the time we just relaxed at our perfect lake house and enjoyed the views. It was our first time in Lewiston and it is just what up north is all about WE LOVED IT.

The host was very communicative and the house was everything we needed. We had 2 families enjoy it and utilized the lake for ice fishing. Plenty of room for parking two trucks with trailers in the circle drive. Very comfortable in the cabin for cooking, playing games, watching tv in the large family room with the great view of the lake. We will totally return for either more winter fun or try it for summer enjoyment.
