We built our vacation home in 2013 and sold it four years ago since we didn’t have time to enjoy it. However, we missed it so much that we bought it back from the kind second owners and are happy to continue welcoming visitors for a relaxing vacation at our beloved Camp Harmony. Our home is in the most convenient, walkable location at Lake Malone, only a half mile walk to the Shady Cliff restaurant and marina. Camp Harmony has three bedrooms and two baths. It sleeps eight people. There are two queen bedrooms, one bunk bed, one bath, living room and kitchen with stainless steel appliances on the main level, along with a screened in porch and deck. The lower level has a bedroom with a sliding barn door, bathroom, living area with a couch and futon, and another screened in porch and washer dryer. It a few short steps to your private deck to enjoy the splendors of Lake Malone. We have two kayaks and a gas grill for your use. There are also several chairs for use on the screened in porches or deck. We invite mature & responsible adults and families to plan a getaway at our well-cared for family vacation home. We try to be respectful of our neighbors, and if you’re looking for a house to throw a party, this is definitely not the best place for you. There is parking for three regular sized cars in front of our house. Additional free parking is a short walk away at the large Shady Cliff Marina lot located between the restaurant and Event Center. Please show them your support and have a meal or rent a pontoon boat. We are here to help you have a most enjoyable and relaxing vacation, reminiscent of those good ol’ summer camp or family vacation days. We rented a pontoon boat and the marina staff were very helpful. This was the last weekend for live music on Saturdays in summer at the restaurant. We really enjoyed the catfish. The view of the lake is just what I was looking for. We loved the screened in porches, the lights at night, and the whole house was wonderfully furnished. The kitchen was supplied well with everything but our basic food. The downstairs made a nice separate space for our adult children to have their own space and still had another bedroom for a couple friends to come and visit. We have stayed at this lake home several times and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The steps to the dock are minimal, which you don't find at Lake Malone. Being within walking distance to the marina is a bonus. Having the bedroom and space downstairs worked out great when our son joined us for a few days. Couldn't ask for a better location and layout. We brought our boat and docked it right in the back yard. All sport lake to be able to ski and fish. Even some cliff jumping available. We were able to bring our dog which was great too. The house was so well decorated and had the perfect amount of space for my family of four...could have easily had a couple more guests come with. Kitchen had all of our cooking needs. Family room had games to play and some great books to read. TV had Netflix and hulu. My tmobile cell phone had no reception but the house has wifi. Owner had kayaks and floats for days we stayed at the dock. Water was deep enough and clean to let the kids jump off the dock and swim around. Perfect vacation. We truly enjoyed our stay at Camp Harmony Hill. The views of the lake from the screened in porch are so relaxing. The house has all the amenities you will need. You can rent a pontoon boat at the marina and dock it. You can jump of the dock and have lake entertainment all day long. The closest Walmart is about 30 mins away, something to keep in mind, but with Walmart pickup it makes grocery shopping a breeze. There is a restaurant near by, but we didn’t try it. You are about 1.5 hours away from mammoth caves or Nashville. There’s a little beach area you can go to on the lake. The location is remote, but if you’re looking to disconnect and focus on your family, this is the place to be. The only advice I’d give is thing is bring mosquito repellent, they’re abundant in the area. We will definitely be back. ##### Priscilla S. There weren't many people around as I'm sure April is still the off-season. It was relaxing and quiet on the lake. We watched the beautiful sunrises in the mornings. We enjoyed the multiple decks and screened-in decks although there were no bugs during our stay. The house suits 6 people perfectly. The owners are caring and add the nice touches to make the place cosy and welcoming. We walked to the local restaurant. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and the food was good. It's a nice little neighborhood to take walks. The rocks and ledges add to the beautiful experience. The house is well kept. We had no issues at all. It's very clear the owners love their getaway home and take good care of it. Also, the Internet service and TV worked great for us. It was an easy drive to make a day trip to Bowling Green. So if you want a quiet getaway with the ability to make day trips to the tourist sites, this is your place. We would definitely stay again. ##### John S. This cabin was just what we needed. The cabin was clean and as pictured. My teen daughter loved the downstairs bedroom with the barn door. It's the little things. lol. Our dogs loved sunning with us on the dock. We enjoyed dinner on the screened in porch overlooking the lake each evening. The kayaks were great fun. The views from the water just a little way down the lake are amazing and something you would expect to see out West. My husband and I, along with our two dogs, enjoyed daily walks in the neighborhood and the surrounding streets. We enjoyed a few hikes at Lake Malone State Park. It was a great trip. The owners at the Marina were very friendly and we ordered a meal to go from there one evening. It was delicious. Other than that, I brought all my own food. I went with my husband, two boys, ages 14yo and 7yo, and my parents. There was plenty of space for all of us. We had an absolutely amazing time. The house is beautiful with amazing views.
