"No hot breakfast items. Purported manager [who would not give me her name] told me they had run out, that they had exceeded their "budget" for that day, that they had no obligation to provide me a hot breakfast and that I should just accept it."
"Two positives: We liked the location and the room was clean. Concerns:The motel was understaffed. When we pulled up several people were smoking near the signs that said no smoking. Also during our stay. several dogs were running unleashed in the building. Front desk staff should monitor these things, but we only saw one staff person during our stay. He was careless in writing out the wrong internet password and thought nothing of it. The building is in decline. We had missing light bulbs and no ice bucket. There was evidence at the breakfast that things were sloppy: no lids for coffee cups, no juice in the dispenser, etc. A dog running freely in there."
"We thought a breakfast was included with the room as it had been one of the best in the past. It was a continental breakfast with no protein. Hot breakfast was at a cost… not cheap. The toilet didn’t flush properly and my husband had to get a plunger from the front desk. People leave at a very early time and there was a lot of noise in the early hours of the morning. But the price was right and the room was clean. Nice staff."
"We stayed in 245 for 5 days/6 nights. The staff are amazing but the room was definitely not what we expected. There was no microwave but it had a refrigerator and a lot of counter space. The AC unit was LOUD so much to the point that you have to turn the TV up to about 28-30 to be able to hear it. The TV only had about 6 channels that would actually come up although a lot of other channels were listed. When you turned up (or down) the volume then the TV would "talk" to you and tell you the volume that you were changing it to. There was also the menu box on the screen that we could never get to go away. The pool was great for the kids but the heater wasn't working (no fault of the hotel) but on Wednesday night/Thursday morning at 1:01 am the fire alarm went off because they thought that there might have been a gas leak. At 1:33 am we got to go back into the building. We had a room that overlooked the pool and you can hear everyone that is at the pool. Breakfast was not included with our stay. This was my own fault for not paying attention to the surcharge for breakfast. The location was very convenient as it is near several restaurants and Walmart. Overall, we will probably pick a different hotel to stay at that is closer to our kids then at the Grand Williston."
