A recently refurbished 2 bed holiday cottage set within 57 acres of private land adjoining the river Ouse and including ancient woodland . Guests are welcome to take walks across the land and enjoy the views and wildlife as well as the horses grazing in the fields on this equestrian holding.
The cottage is ideally situated for a peaceful stay in the countryside and to visit the numerous local attractions including the Bluebell Railway, Sheffield Park House and Garden, Plumpton Racecourse, The South of England Showground, the High Weald AONB and the Sussex coastline including Brighton only 16 miles away. Please note that the main bedroom is directly off of the staircase. The 2nd bedroom is located off of the main bedroom. This property is therefore best suited to a couple or a couple with young family. Please take a look at 2 Badgers Rest if you are looking for something slightly bigger.
The owners reside on the land and are very happy to provide information on the local area following your warm welcome to the property.
This is a self catering cottage with underfloor heating in the bathroom. Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Cooking Oil, Cling Film & Aluminium Foil are provided.
Please also note that the property is located directly opposite the main barn containing stables with horses.

We really enjoyed the accommodation that was perfect for our family. The surrounding area is very beautiful with a lot of places to visit. The owner is very friendly.
