This lovely open floor plan home in Angola By the Bay has tons of space for entertaining or relaxing on your vacation. Two floors of living and bedrooms makes for a unique situation whereby two families can share the space. The first floor, with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, living and dining areas is great for a small family while the second floor has the main kitchen, living, dining, two bedrooms and another full bathroom. The large decks are great for evening dinners or a game of cards after getting back from the beach or the community pool. New fenced yard is great for the fur kid! Angola by the Bay also has tennis courts, a crabbing dock and a clubhouse. Located just West of Route 1, this community is an easy drive to Rehoboth or Lewes Beaches. Dog Friendly with non-refundable fee and signed addendum (1 dog allowed unless previous approval from owner) Ask your agent for details All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package. 6 pool passes included. Additional passes can be purchase at the Angola By The Bay office. Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00\. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO. The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. Traffic noise at night. The location was somewhat of a drive to get to any beach but we made it work. Had to factor in a half hour drive to get to beach. House had a few small maintenance issues. The beds (queen) are getting worn as we noticed they weren't as comfortable this year as years past. If the owner could leave a leaf blower that would be great as the front drive and deck upstairs gets quite a bit of brush. The cleaners didn't wipe the table on the deck and it looked like it hadn't been wiped in weeks. We did clean it off but took 3 cleanings. We also had quite a few spiders - the main door had a huge web every time we came home with a huge spider in the middle. Honestly, that may sound like a lot but overall the place is amazing and has always felt like a home away from home. They are no longer little. Our older children hung out with us upstairs while the teens stayed downstairs. With the dual kitchen areas, they had plenty of snacks. The huge dining area upstairs allowed us to have meals all together. The home is bright, roomy and very comfortable. The location is close enough to drive to all beaches and restaurants, but far enough away to not feel crowded. Everything is within 15-20 minute drive. Convenient location in a nice quiet gated neighborhood. Check in was smooth and our hostess was very responsive and helpful. Overall, a good stay, but there were some drawbacks. The house could use a deep clean, especially the carpeted stairs and area rug. The dining chairs were fabric but were stained. There was an ant issue in the kitchen ( not out of ordinary especially with the time of year, but the ant bait was full upon arrival, showing maybe it wasn’t changed before our check in). While the additional time we took to clean and mitigate these issues caused some inconvenience, it was a good stay.I will say, that when we checked out, we explained these issues to our hostess and she was very attentive, apologetic, and receptive. Overall, there were no glaring issues or deal breakers and we enjoyed our family time. ##### Darren S. Initial pictures showed community boat ramp but when asked to rent a slip for the week we were told that we are not even allowed to use the ramp.
