    Wake each morning to the sound of songbirds, spend your days exploring some of Northern Michigan’s most beautiful destinations, and end each evening beneath a blanket of stars that seem close enough to touch. Surrounded by wildflowers, towering trees, and abundant wildlife, Den Den Cabin offers a simple, authentic Up North experience that’s becoming harder to find.

    While you’re here, take time to wander Kilpatrick Vintage Acres, our growing outdoor collection of vintage automobiles, antique trucks, farm equipment, gas pumps, signs, and Americana. Every piece has a story, and we’re passionate about preserving these pieces of American history for future generations. It’s a unique experience you won’t find at most vacation rentals—and one more reason guests return year after year.

    Guests are also welcome to enjoy our little piece of farm life. Meet our chickens, goats, and two friendly bunny rabbits, and take the opportunity to feed and interact with the animals during your stay. It’s a fun, memorable experience for kids and adults alike.

    Den Den Cabin is designed for guests who appreciate simplicity and unplugging from everyday life.

    Cabin sleeps 4, but we allow up to 6 people if you want to set a tent up within the site.
    Rustic cabin with 12-volt lighting only
    No 110-volt electrical outlets
    No running water inside the cabin
    Guests haul their water from our onsite water station (we provide clean water jugs for your convenience)
    Traditional, clean outhouse

    For your convenience, we have ice available for purchase onsite and firewood available for purchase onsite, so you can spend more time relaxing and less time running errands.
