It was comfortable inside. If felt secure and parking was good. The outside if the building felt really run-down and unkempt. It needs sorting as it lets some really good accommodation down. Good kitchen,, washing machine and dryer. The apartment is not very cosy . And the building in which it is located also doesn't have a great atmosphere. But it is very centrally located, restaurant, pubs and supermarket within 1 minute walk. The location is absolutely perfect for going to the Connemara Park and Kylemore Abby. The kitchen was well equipped and linens were clean and available. It's a bit dorm like, but very comfortable. The bed is a bit hard, but overall the place was a good find for three bedrooms. My only criticism is regarding the electric. They state in the listing that you need to pay for your electric, which is fine. However the instructions to understand the meter and pay we're very complicated and it was tough to get in touch with them. However in the end, we didn't use enough of the energy to be charged and they were accommodating once they understood that we couldn't figure it out. My guess is this is a common practice in Ireland. The apartment was a little worn but was super clean and it had everything we needed and was walking to distances to a few places to eat / takeaway. It’s in a great location to explore Connemara.
