Living and dining area was good for up to 8 adults max. Bedrooms in the basement were adequate but poorly ventilated with no windows. Location in village was great with stunning views from parking area which doubled as terrace and eating area shared with 2 other properties so outdoor eating wasn't very practical and so very disappointing for a summer holiday. A rather overgrown garden at a lower level was not really useable. Very tight access to parking even in a medium sized car. Worth mentioning it is opposite the church whose bells ring very loudly every 30 mins 24 hours a day. Not a problem for those sleeping in basement but took some getting used to in upstairs bedrooms. Property owner very friendly although no English spoken. Overall a high quality interior in a fantastic location for anyone wanting to walk and explore the Pyrenees. Spain only half an hour away too. Toutefois, nous n'aurions jamais choisi cette maison s'il n'avait pas été mentionné sur l'annonce que la station de ski la Pierre-Saint-Martin était à 14 (quatorze ) minutes en voiture or elle est à 50 (cinquante) minutes ce qui fait que tous les jours nous devions rouler un peu moins de 2h pour faire l'aller-retour sur des routes sinueuses. Le ménage n'est pas bien réalisé (ne regardez pas sous les lits et canapé (poussière, objets de nos appartenant pas), l'intérieur du four micro-ondes ( nourriture collée partout), congelateur... Nous avons dû laver deux alaises extrêmement sales à notre arrivée et un petit coup d'éponge sur les joints de salle de bain ne serait pas superflu. Quant aux accès privilégiés concernant les remontées mécaniques il n'y en a aucun contrairement à ce qui est également marqué dans l'annonce. ##### vincent N. Les cloches du village ne se font pas oublier, mais il fut super agréable de profiter hors saison de ce gîte très accueillant et chaleureux, et de marcher à la limite des sommets enneigés. Situation vraiment idéale, on vit vraiment dans un village qui a encore gardé une épicerie, un bar, un restaurant. L'espace attenant au gîte semble partagé par 2 autres maisons, mais hors saison nous fûmes seuls. Le gîte plutôt sur l'arrière de la maison, côté village et église, pas de vue sur les montagnes mais quand l'hiver est là, il avait tout pour nous accueillir le mieux possible. Gîte avant tout idéal pour 4 personnes, surtout si ce sont des adultes (les chambres du bas sont sans éclairage naturel). Mais que du bonheur pour nous qui n'étions que deux. ##### JY J. Nous sommes arrivés avec une remorque et deux motos. Très difficile d'accès. Il est quasi impossible de parquer sa voiture au gîte. des parkings sont présents dans la ville et en déhors. Le gîte est composé de 4 chambres dont 2 au RDC sans fenêtre. Il y a également une sdb au rdc mais très humide. Odeur de moidi présente - Le propiétaire est conscient du probléme et va trouver rapidement une solution . Au premier étage ,la partie cuisine et salon est impeccable et très bien équipée. Les chambres au second sont spacieuses et très agréables. L'église à côté du bâtiment nous rappelle chaque heure jour et nuit l'heure qu'il est - a savoir. Il y a un grenier aménagé mais sans fenêtre et accessible uniquement aux personnes de très petites tailles. Nous avons eu quelques soucis avac la personne qui acceuille mais le propriétaire est intervenu. Je recommande ce gîte pour 4 personnes ( pour éviter les chambres sans fenêtre et humidité au RDC). Vous y passerez alors un séjour inoubliable si vous avez un bon sommeil. ##### didier h. Stayed 7 nights in Sep 2023 ### 4/10 Poor #### claire p. 9 Aug 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication Disliked: Location, listing accuracy #### Quelques precisions que nous airions aimé avoir avant de louer Rien à redire sur le confort du logement ( literie equipement cuisine) bien que la piece de vie soit tres sombre cependant on aurait aimé savoir que les cloches de l eglise à 50 m sonnent toutes les 1/2 heures meme la nuit ( dormir fenetres fermees), que les 2 chambres d en bas sont sans fenetres et la salle de bain tres humide malgre la ventilation bruyante, que le dortoir enfant est aussi sans fenetre et inaccessible sans ramper dans l escalier echelle et dans le dortoir ( photo peu conforme) et enfin qu une voiture un peu longue ne rentre que tres difficilement dans la cour. Stationnement autre difficile et un peu loin de l appartement. Lescun est un lieu de randonnées superbes et un village charmant et vivant . ##### claire p. Le gîte est parfaitement équipé pour cuisiner et passer un très agréable séjour. Le propriétaire très réactif à la moindre requête, le contact a été très facile. Lescun est un endroit merveilleux, les possibilités de ballades nombreuses, raquettes, ski de piste, même pour des petit amateurs comme nous. Seul petit bémol, tous les commerces (bar, restaurant, boulanger...) étaient fermés pendant la semaine où nous étions là, il fallait donc descendre à Bedous pour l'approvisionnement. ##### fanny A. Bacqué , un homme charmant qui se plie en 4 pour satisfaire ses hôtes… la maison est belle et confortable pour une famille de 8/9 pers , le plus très apprécié du billard , le jardin très agréable… et la pièce de vie très jolie et agréable. Belle maison dans un petit village(calme assuré) et une très belle vue sur la vallée. L'accès en voiture familiale n'est pas évident pour pouvoir se garer dans la cour. Le salon/séjour est très agréable avec sa cuisine ouverte qui est très bien équipée. Il faut noter que 2 chambres n'ont pas d'ouverture sur l'extérieur. De nombreux circuits de randonnées traversent le village, nous avons également profité d'une petite station nordique Somport très appréciable et bon marché, La Pierre St Martin est un peu plus éloignée mais très agréable avec ses chiens de traineaux, la station espagnol de Candanchu est collée à celle du Somport. Le gîte est spacieux, chaleureux et très bien équipé. C’est un endroit parfait où l’on se sent bien cosy après les retours de randonnée. L’accueil se fait avec sérénité, on se sent bien immédiatement.
