The location was amazing. Our villa was right on the water, and has the best su We had a great trip! The location was amazing. Our villa was right on the water, and has the best sunset views in the Plum Bay area (where we were located). We did lots of day trips to the Northeast coast (Atlantic Ocean side) to places like Grand Case, Orient Bay, Galion, Cul de Sac, Ilet Pinel, etc. The villa was spacious, the pool was awesome, and it literally was on a beautiful beach. The island is small and everything is within 15 - 20 miles, very easy to explore, but because the island roads are so bad/curvy, it takes about 30/40 minutes to get anywhere. We did a nice mix of time at the villa and also exploring the various beaches. Marigot (the capital on the French side) was really close to us. There was a wide variety of restaurants, and we found lots of kid-friendly spots. The airport (on the Dutch side) was also really close. My parents did a little exploring on the Dutch side on their last day. We ended up having Thanksgiving catered at the villa, which was perfect. The food came a little late, but we survived. The staff was superb! Cynthia, the housekeeper and Kensy, the caretaker were super helpful and nice.
