super chateau!
Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!

C'est un bon gîte pour groupe nombreux, mais effectivement pas Top pour les enfants... Sandrine est très souriante, elle est honnête dans les explications et toujours disponible. Des travaux sont en cours mais il reste bcp à faire encore... Bon courage !

Un très agréable séjour en famille
La maison se prête parfaitement à la réunion de membres de la famille, parfois éloignés géographiquement, compte tenu de ses capacités d'hébergement. Elle correspond parfaitement à l'idée que l'on peut se faire d'une maison de campagne ancienne et familiale remplie des souvenirs du passé. Quelques inconvénients liés à la difficulté, que l'on peut imaginer, de la maintenir en l'état et de l'adapter aux standards modernes, sur lesquels on passe aisément. Un charme indéniable et une bonne expérience.

Séjour désastreux - Du jamais vu !
Notre séjour aux Métairies était un calvaire : Après avoir passé le week-end en famille/amis dans cette maison vétuste voire dangereuse notamment pour des enfants (trous dans le plancher à l'étage, graffitis dans certaines chambres, sols et plafonds abimés par l'humidité, fenêtres qui ne se ferment pas, propreté inexistante etc.), nous avons été accusés à tord de VOL ET DE DÉGRADATIONS. Le propriétaire a envoyé des photos à Abritel (après notre passage) des graffitis existants en disant qu’ils provenaient de nous. Une marmite aurait aussi soit disant disparue. Scandaleux et si facile ! Résultat : l'entièreté de la caution volée. Pourtant, l’état des lieux de sortie s’était parfaitement passé. Nous avions même fait le ménage malgré le forfait. D’autres procédures sont en cours notamment pour le bruit dans cette maison, chaque week-end. Nous avons pour habitude de louer des maisons, et nous n’avions eu aucune déconvenue jusqu’à présent. UNE HONTE ! NOUS DÉCONSEILLONS VIVEMENT !

Très bon séjour en famille
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille. 5 jours toutes tranches d'age. La maison est bien équipée, bien chauffée (le cheminée fonctionne très bien!). Les environs sont très bien fournis en activités et commerces. Situation idéale. 2 petits points (qui n'entament en rien notre enthousiasme) : - Beaucoup de sièges sont en fin de vie, un petit tri ne ferait pas de mal. - Même s'il n'y a à mon avis aucun risque, une partie du plancher de la salle à mangé peut faire peur... Merci pour ce bel endroit!

Belle demeure, mais à rénover
Groupe de 10 gymnastes pour 2 nuits, première impression : chouette nous voilà dans notre manoir après 10h de route. Mais mauvaise surprise : les pièces sont vétustes , décrépites, sans oublier les araignées, les petites bêtes rampantes. Si on se permet ces remarques c'est que la location est tout de même assez élevée. Dommage cette demeure rénovée serait exceptionnelle. Malgré ces désagréments notre bonne humeur, le plaisir d'être ensemble nous ont permis de passer un bon séjour surtout qu'avec au final le titre de championnes de France .

petite déception
la maison est grande et bien placer dans les vignes du cognac et la personne qui nous a ouvert était aimable et serviable. Cependant la chaudière étant difficile à lancé (au moins un réamorçage par jour) et impossible a géré, les chambres passe du trop chaud au trop froid; l'isolation de certaine fenêtres est mème inexistante. Certaines pièces au rez de chausser, en parquet sont limites dangereuses car en dessus de cave pareille pour le grenier ou ce trouve des chambres; ce dernier plis sous le poids d'une façon très inquiétante!! Un super potentiel, une battisse qui en impose mais qui mériterais une mise en sécuriser et de l'isolation, pour donner l'envie de retourner. Du coup, un trop chère pour la prestation de la maison.
