The departure of the slopes is directly down the residence, without steps or transport. Same for the return, a track leads you to the foot of the residence. The residence is located near the kindergarten and the ski school, 200 m from shops and restaurants. The apartment was completely renovated in 2011: 2 bedrooms, kitchen, household appliances, paint, flooring, tiles, walls, baths and toilet with shower 120 x 80, dry towel. very spacious fitted kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, hob, toaster, kettle, raclette, traditional coffee machine, new Nespresso coffee machine, griddle ... Very neat decoration. WIFI: 3 possibilities: 1) The wifi Val Thorens passes in the apartment, it will register at the tourist office to get a code to the week (about 20 €). 2) If you have a SFR box, there is a hotspot that allows you to log in with your personal identifiers without going through the tourist office. 3) The 4G goes into the apartment: the easiest and fastest way is to activate the connection of your 4G mobile and connect it to your computer or tablet. CAPACITY: Apartment that can comfortably accommodate 4 adults + 2 children BEDDING: all beds are very recent: 1 double bed 1m90 x1m40 in the bedroom, 2 bunk beds 1m90 x 90cm in the corner mountain, 1 sofa bed 1m90 x 1m40 quality in the living room. Cot umbrella present .; Baby booster for the meal. Electric shutters. New joinery (summer 2018) The balcony is full SOUTH (see photo taken from the balcony!). Great view on the slopes. Ski locker. Remember to book your parking in P0 on Valtho park. com We are also listed on the owners of apartments, 874,715 reference (29m2 4 people) and 1,290,782 (22m2 2-4 persons) with the same finish and even serious follow if the period is already booked or are looking smaller. Arrival - Departure: Delivery of keys by a concierge service that will conduct an inventory on departure by appointment (the household must be done or else do plan ahead in the contract: 60 euros). Deposit 300 euros and will be returned by mail after the inventory. By check will not be cashed. Balcony is on the main slope. It’s easy to pop home for lunch, which saved us a fortune. Shops and bars nearby but it’s quiet in the apartment. Beautifully looked after. Cramped for family of five, but entirely what I expect in a ski chalet (son in one bedroom, 2 daughters in bunk beds in bedroom 2, parents on the sofa bed in the lounge /kitchen/diner). If you’re beginner skiers, it’s slightly challenging to get home without a bit of a walk - ski school finishes quite a way downhill, so you need to either walk (quite hard) or take a lift and do a green/blue run which can be a little icy in difficult snow conditions. But my wife managed it and she is pretty novice and very tentative. We are seriously thinking about rebooking the same place for next year. The owners of our apartment were well organised and professional with good communications, and clearly well used to dealing with guests. The whole process was pretty straight forward. The apartment was excellent. Really comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. Things like a four ring hob and oven were just brilliant to have. Location was perfect, with a very short walk to the slopes! Shops, bars and restaurants were close by and easily accessible. The apartment was in a lovely block, which was very quiet and respectful. However, you need to pay a 300EUR deposit outside of VRBO directly to the owner. He did not return the full amount claiming the property was left “unclean”. We had to hire sheets at 110EUR, later displayed in photos bundled on the floor for pick up. The property was vacuumed and cleaned and we left at 9am, designated time to leave, with the dishwasher running. Not expecting to be charged for not putting the dishes away. Appartement très bien situé au calme et vue imprenable sur les pistes et orienté plein sud. Logement très propre,bien équipé ,beaucoup de rangement. Nous étions très proche du centre et des pistes.
