Our apartment is located Olympic Residence, on the top of the station, quiet (concierge in the building), ideally located with direct access to the slopes and 5 minutes from the Shopping Center Peclet. The apartment of 34 m2, located on the 4th floor with elevator has a west facing balcony. It has a bedroom with a double bed, a Clic-Clac in the living room and a corner cabin with a bunk bed. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge and dishwasher. The bathroom is equipped with a sink, a shower and a toilet. Our apartment is labeled 2 flakes of Silver by the Tourist Office of Val Thorens. He is very appreciated by our tenants. The bathroom was full of hair and dirt. We cleaned up and got on with our holiday just wanting to enjoy the snow. The dishwasher was broken and had no power - reported this and the reply was to use the instructions. We are now being charged for the repair even though we reported the fault!!! We left the apartment clean and tidy. We were then contacted to say we had left black marks on a radiator from drying cleaning cloths on it and they will not refund any of our deposit. Emailed owner for explanation - simply told we had damaged their heater (black marks) and had to pay for the dishwasher repair. No explanation as to what the marks are or why they cost the full deposit to remove. STAY AWAY - absolute disgusting both in terms of cleanliness and withholding money. The apartment was clean and cosy with everything we needed and the residence is ski-in/ski-out. We would certainly stay again in future.
