The main area is on the ground level and includes a spacious living room, a modern kitchen, a room with fireplace and flat screen TV, as well as three bedrooms and a bathroom. By the pool, an expansive terrace and poolhouse with grill await. Behind the house runs a railroad line, but it is very rarely used and therefore not a real noise nuisance. The Gard is rich in natural attractions: Heaths, the Camargue Natural Park, the Pont du Gard and the valley of the Cèze with the beautiful cascades of Sautadet. Here you will also vacation between the Alpilles, the Monts de Vaucluse and the Luberon. A stone's throw away, behind a beautifully preserved fortification, lures the lively city of Avignon with the former papal palace, a historic old town and renowned restaurants. La ligne de chemin de fer (soit disant très peu fréquentée) est a quelques mètres de la maison et fait tout de même pas mal de bruit à plusieurs reprises dans la journée. Le propriétaire (très sympathique au demeurant) passe pour nettoyer la piscine mais sans prévenir, à notre grande surprise. L'arrière de la maison est un entreposage de matériel de chantier et la cuisine manque cruellement d'ustensiles et de matériels. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer une bonne semaine de vacances pour autant, juste quelques points à améliorer pour que ce soit tip top !!! ##### Romain G.
