"The hotel itself is fine and the staff are excellent. But to describe the hotel as "ski-in/ski-out" is wholly misleading. The exit/entrance involved a dangerous traverse across about 100m of sheet ice. The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. That runs about every 90 minutes, so is basically useless. So don't stay here if you don't want to have to drive to the resort each day. Also, don't make the mistake of buying the full Paradiski...

"Fantastic place, really friendly staff, excellent room with nice shower and comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend this place. Quick to the train station, only a few minutes away and not far from the funicular (which, if you're skiing runs before the ski lifts so from the hotel you can still get first lifts onto your mountain). Bourg is a lovely place."

We had an amazing stay at this hotel, we were greeted by Nicolas on reception who was warm and welcoming, he was so helpful and could not do enough for us, he is a credit to the hotel. "We had a fantastic stay at the apparent and a brilliant week skiing. The flat was warm and clean and had everything we need to cook for the week. Close to the shops and restaurants and it was great to be able to ski to and from the door. A fantastic hot shower and amazing views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains. The only really disappointment about the stay was the message we received from the owner to say we had left the flat dirty having spent time making sure that we had left it clean and tidy. We were sent a bill for 100 euros for the place to be cleaned! No reply was made from the owner in response to us querying the state of the flat. It felt like a bit of a money grab from the owner especially when we were happy to meet the agent the night before to hand over the apparent in a clean a tidy state. They did not wish to meet us! So would we recommend this place, yes but I would be concerned you might be sent a bill regardless of how clean and tidy you left it! "

"The property is fantastic, HOWEVER:1) It isn’t ski in/out (at least a 300m walk before you ski through trees to the slopes to get to a red run. We had to drive every day and we’re experienced skiers!2) The room configuration is NOT what is on the website (actual configuration is three doubles, one single, one room with two bunk beds). This made our lives hard as we had told children which rooms they would be in, based on description. We did have a couple of issues while staying, but they were fixed VERY QUICKLY. The owner (local contact) were excellent. "
