He attends APP State and this was so easy to get back and forth to Boone. The home is beautiful and comfortable for a family. We loved sitting on the outside deck by the solo stove with the great view. We enjoyed making big breakfasts in the morning is the kitchen and the family room space downstairs and upstairs is nice for watching movies and playing games. The pics don’t do it justice, it’s so beautiful in person. The location is great. You’re able to get to Blowing Rock and Boone easily. The rooms are huge. It’s almost like 2 houses in one with plenty of room upstairs and downstairs for friends or family. The views of the mountains out back are stunning. Lisa was so easy to communicate with. When we got worried about ice, Paul was there within minutes salting the drive. While the driveway is steep, it’s not hard to maneuver. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook at home. The beds were very comfortable which is always important! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck and building a fire each evening and drinking coffee in the mornings. It was one of the highlights of the entire trip. My only suggestion would be to put some lighting from the house to the deck as the walkway is really dark.
