We came with kids and grandson on Amtrak from St Louis. Home was very comfortable, clean, and great location for what the family wanted to do. Wonderful spot to stay in KC area

The house was bigger than we anticipated. Very nice and clean huge family room huge dining room. Kitchen is very spacious. Lots of room at the island to eat around talk have a good time. The neighborhood is really quiet. Nice houses in the area and close to lots of eating establishments.

This property is absolutely lovely and the communication with owners was the best I’ve ever had. We had two couples and some kids every night and this was more affordable than two hotel rooms with lots of space and privacy, giving us the ability to gather together at night for game nights. It was perfect. Very quiet and safe neighborhood close to everything we needed.

Christmas Reunion

This property is in a nice neighborhood close to shopping, churches, restaurants. It was very clean and the owners made it welcoming by decorating for Christmas. The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed to celebrate with family, beds were comfortable. We had a 94 year old down to a 10 month old and all were happy. It was warm and cozy and roomy.

Fantastic!

We came to town for our daughter's wedding and realized it was going to be much less expensive to rent a house rather than four hotel rooms for three nights. This property was absolutely perfect for everything we needed. When we arrived on Thursday I had a work meeting so asked the owners if we could get in an hour early so I didn't have to do it in a random parking lot. They graciously agreed and we were so thankful!!

KC wedding lodging

We booked the KC Chalet as our lodging for our niece's wedding New Year's weekend. The chalet was perfect for our group of 7 adults with enough space/bathrooms to accommodate all of us getting ready for the wedding! Ron and Margaret were very responsive hosts - even when we were discovered we were locked out when we returned home well after midnight on NYE!! The proximity of the home to Kansas City was a plus - as the church and reception venues in the city were only about a 20 minute drive. It is very close to shopping, food, etc., in the Lenexa/Overland Park area, which we were familiar with having visited our family in Leawood over the years. Typically we stay with family when visiting, but if there is ever another occasion where we need a different lodging option I will for sure consider the KC Chalet again!!!

Home Away From Home

Our family had a perfect weekend celebrating the engagement of our son and soon-to-be daughter-in-law. We spoke with Ron and Margaret (through the app) before booking the property to ensure that it would be ok to host a gathering to celebrate the engagement. They were very gracious and excited for our family. We had about 20/25 people over for dinner, and the house served our needs perfectly! The house is comfortable, spacious and clean. All eight of us slept at the house. The only caveat we had was no fault of the owners, but my failure to pay attention to the provided information, there are no products in the showers (which… why would there be; it isn’t a hotel). That was no problem though, we ran to Walgreens that was a few minutes away, and we were all set. Also, there are lots of amenities and restaurants within easy driving distance. We ate pizza at Grinders (less than a mile away) , and it was fantastic! Thanks, Ron and Margaret, for sharing your beautiful home! We will definitely come again!

If you are thinking of renting this house, do it! We stayed here for a long weekend as a group of friends attending the NCAA volleyball playoffs. It was perfect for our group of 6, but could definitely hold more people. It's in a super safe, quaint neighborhood and the house was very welcoming, spacious and comfortable!
