The proximity of the home to Kansas City was a plus - as the church and reception venues in the city were only about a 20 minute drive. It is very close to shopping, food, etc., in the Lenexa/Overland Park area, which we were familiar with having visited our family in Leawood over the years. We spoke with Ron and Margaret (through the app) before booking the property to ensure that it would be ok to host a gathering to celebrate the engagement. They were very gracious and excited for our family. We had about 20/25 people over for dinner, and the house served our needs perfectly! The house is comfortable, spacious and clean. The only caveat we had was no fault of the owners, but my failure to pay attention to the provided information, there are no products in the showers (which… why would there be; it isn’t a hotel). That was no problem though, we ran to Walgreens that was a few minutes away, and we were all set. Also, there are lots of amenities and restaurants within easy driving distance.
