From the moment we arrived at Batu Karang, it was a pleasure staying there. Staff were super friendly. The facilities were great 25m lap poola, gym, steam room, pool bar etc etc. The room we had was spacious great outdoor bathroom and amazing views. Easy walk to bars and shops, beaches and more. Convenient location for everything we wanted to do. Loved every minute of our stay.

A wonderful stay at Batu Karang. Breakfast was spectacular, service was thoughtful, the room and bathroom were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The whole experience was serene peaceful and has me dreaming about returning soon.

Great hotel with a lovely pool area with amazing views. Staff were among the best I’ve ever experienced. Very attentive and helpful. The restaurant food was amazing. Just be mindful the resort is on a hill and there are a lot of steps to get from rooms down to reception, the main pool and the restaurant.

The resort was magical!!! Everything was extremely clean, private just beautiful!! We enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts and ate at the restuarant several nights. The pool, Sauna and cold plunges were divine. We walked to Coconut beach to the left of the hotel for swimming in beautiful water and to the right to downtown to walk on the beach, shop, eat and relax!! Hands down, an amazing place to stay!!

AMAZING HOTEL AND STAFF ! Everything about our stay was perfect . Location is great on a hill overlooking the beach . Our villa # 2 was in the lower part with access to the main restaurant, Lobby, one of the pools and walking deck . They also offer golf carts to move You around if you need to . The hotel has one of the best restaurants in the area THE DECK , it always gets packed 👌 and is perfect for a Sunset meal , reasonable prices . Breakfast if included with the room is amazing, you puck from the a la carte menu 3 choices , lots of food . Our room had outdoor shower and bath 🛁, balcony overlooking the beach and very spacious room . It was the perfect stayed... Hope to ve back again one of these days !!

We had a lovely short but very sweet stay at this hotel. The location is everything and we were fortunate to have some great views from our room. Though the check in process could have been smoother, the staff were hospitable. We had to wait up at security for some time before being escorted down on the buggy to reception, we also contacted the hotel as we were at the rocky ferry harbour and had no way of reaching the hotel, I feel like this could be a possible free service that the hotel could offer to guests rather than it be something additional we paid for. The only other real downside was the pool closing at 4pm, a lot of people were shifted from the main pool so that set up for dinner could start- I think a more reasonable time for this would be 5pm given the set up in the morning is delayed due to breakfast. Other than that, we had a great stay and would recommend.

The hotel and staff are wonderful! Our room was beautiful and the quality of bedding and linens were 5 star. The morning breakfast was plentiful and excellent! The hotel is located on a steep hill but they have golf carts to take you up and down if you don’t care to walk.

What you see online is what you get in person. It was a beautiful room and property. Staff is very friendly and accommodating (they do struggle a bit speaking English, but they get their job done). It was a bonus that there is a full gym and lap pool that we had entirely to ourselves when we were there!

The hotel is very romantic excellent stay. Everyone super helpful and warm. Keep in mind don’t open your eyes under the pool as it has a combination of salt and chlorine that can make you see blurry for the rest of the day.

We stayed in villa 2, fantastic position near the restaurant and pool, the accommodation was lovely, the staff were wonderful and the breakfasts were amazing. The resort is built on a hill however a golf cart is always available to take you to the top part. We found it easier leaving and entering to use the bottom entrance. Would highly recommend

The resort including our Villa was absolutely amazing. The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The resort itself was peaceful and the views were to die for. The gym facility was pretty good for a resort gym and the new steam room and ice bath are a great addition to the resort. I would highly recommend Baku Karang to anyone wanting to have a relaxing holiday.

Beautiful and relaxing stay!

Beautiful hotel and grounds and view of the beach. Great lounging by the pool and getting drinks/food at The Deck and the neighbouring Thai restaurant 👌. The included breakfast every morning was absolutely fantastic. I booked 2 nights in adjoining one bedroom villas with friends/family, and I loved it so much that I decided to stay on for 2 more nights!
