"Loved our stay here. Hotel is much bigger than what meets the eye from the street (so they were able to accommodate our request for 2 separate beds. I think we essentially got a free upgrade). It's in a good central location, with everything within walking distance. Travel tips: Book a guided tour of Kilkenny Castle if you can. You get too see amazing parts that are not available during self-guided visits. Have dinner/drinks/listen to live music at Kyteler's Inn. It's a 700 year old pub, and has amazing history. Try their own Witch brew and come for music early, as seats are limited."

"Great location with plenty of options for dining and sightseeing. The rooms are clean and the staff were friendly. Just know that they do not have air conditioning in the rooms. They will provide you with a portable fan if requested. Well worth the cost to stay in this beautiful area. "
