The hotel is very overdue for refurbishment- decor is 1980s American and so shabby - how can this be a 4 star Hilton? Evening meal was poor - microwave meals come to mind - but breakfast is well done. Staff try hard - it must be discouraging for them to work in such an environment. Hotel owners should have taken remedial action here long ago- it is the last Hilton we book into!
Room was poor room safe was not working could not turn off bathroom light, and at 6 in the morning i think we was next to a boiler room..

Short staffed, took almost an hour to get an extra duvet. Room looked quite dated but was clean. Specifically booked for the gym and pool/spa but was very busy and changing rooms were dirty. Breakfast was nice but took ages to get veggie sausages, by the time they came out we were done eating. Would not stay again.
Single night stay after returning from vacation to find home completely destroyed by water leak. Front of house staff amazing - very understanding and kind. Even tried to extend stay for a few hours whilst alternate accommodations found.
Offered a very good breakfast.
Parking charges also not active at time of stay.
Overall excellent front of house.

Cold, room had a very old electric heater which barely warmed the room. Duvet was really thin and no other options as were the pillows. Did request more pillows as the two given were really thin. Slept very uncomfortably

Bathroom was very tired.
It took about 20 mins to check. We were asked to try multiple cards and wasn’t even sure if payment was being taken and then was told payment had gone on to the card which the booking was made with.
Fantastic service from very accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The restaurant food breakfast and dinner was of a good standard and staff are excellent. Unfortunately, this Hilton hotel is in dire need of a major refurbishment. The whole feel of the hotel is very dated and the rooms are of a very basic standard, even delux rooms. Everything looks a bit grubby although rooms are cleaned and bedding and towels are fresh.
Room size was fairly big but the carpet had a few spots. Some odd smell in the corridor.
Free car cark for our conference was helpful and I hope they won't bill us for car park for additional day we stayed.
Some of our colleagues did not like high bath tubs as it was not easy to get in and out. Shower would be great.
There were no lifts and no porters to help you with your luggage.
Sad hotel . The rooms are dated with damaged facilities. Bathroom needs updating in fact the whole hotel does. However redeeming feature is the staff absolutely fabulous .

Wouldn’t rush back
The hotel is tired and the car park was chaos. I did arrive around 9pm however the reception team weren’t overly welcoming.
We only had an overnight stay, but we’re very satisfied with everything. The member of staff on duty when we arrived was so welcoming and understanding. He showed interest in us and the reason for our stay. We didn’t feel as though we were just another number’ checking in.
I enjoyed having the pool and fitness facilities- a reason why we selected the hotel. The hotel was also in very close proximity to our next venue.
Room we booked not available, so put in a business room, beds really uncomfortable, room was badly stained, beds and bed linen damp, room smelt of stake smoke and wee
